N-LEY NAILS in Detroit

I went in to see if Alvin was still there he is on vacation again and won’t be back until February 2024!! I asked Vivian if she could do my nails. VIVIAN’S RUDNESS TOWARDS CUSTOMERS IS OUTRAGEOUS. I DID NOT LET HER WORK ON ME I LEFT. I WATCHED HER SPEAK RUDELY TO SEVERAL PATRONS. HOW SO YOU EXPECT TO RUN A BUSINESS THIS WAY?THE PLACE WAS FILTHY ON TOP OF THAT. Spend your money where you are valued as a customer!

They fest upon immobile ppl in the neighborhood who cannot afford to travel to fairer, cleaner places. Prices in better neighborhoods are $10 less for better services. For instance, a shellac fill in at any other salon and regular polish fill in that chips and doesn’t dry at this dump is the same price. Even more toxic is the smell. Because they don’t give a dam about customers, the workers openly smoke in the service area. Mixed with nail fumes, nasty sewerage, and the stench of hard tobacco and other mysterious smells it is frankly impossible to breathe in here. The furniture is dirty and worn down. I guess ppl in the neighborhood don’t get pedicures. They wouldn’t be able to either bcus all the workers sit in every one and the chairs don’t even appear connected to plumbing. I don’t know why it’s not shut down. I guess bcus ppl with no other options are keeping them in business but with poor treatment and pitiful service. A woman with young kids was told they aren’t providing free child care. Even tho it was nasty, I’m glad they got turned away bcus with the toxic fumes, that innocent child’s life was in danger.
On top of all that, they don’t even do good nails. Polish is just slung on in a sloppy mess. Polish was all over my clothes and the polish on my nails looks like the innocent children not allowed in their shop did it.

Over the years I’ve only came here to get my eyebrows done by Vivian and she does a wonderful job! I’ve only gotten my nails done twice and those two times were at N-Ley Nails. An older man did my nails the first time and he was great, no complaints there. The second and last time I got my nails done was by an elderly woman and it wasn’t so pleasant. They don’t sanitize their equipment properly. I left the shop with acrylic under some of my nails (it got to the point where it was difficult to get some of the nails off) and a little bit of pain. I couldn’t even wear them for a week. I’ve grown fungus on my fingernails and I’ve NEVER EVER had that problem before. I came back to the shop to express this problem and they were so unprofessional about it. If you’re thinking about going to N-Ley Nails for service I warn you. BEWARE!!!

Got lashes and eyebrows done. PERFECT! Will be going back 😁

Went in for a polish change, charged $34. Then the paint looks bulky. I will never come back here. They are very unprofessional, I would not recommend this place
