I saw Michelle Barney about hair extensions. At the time my hair was 1 to 2 inches long. I was very concerned that putting in extensions would end up looking like a mullet and she promised me it would not. I can make it look great she said. After paying 1000 bucks for beaded 18” long extensions, it indeed, looked exactly like a freaking mullet. Not only did it look like a mullet, but because the hair was so short, the beads and extensions made it impossible for the hair to lay down properly and the hair stood straight up in the areas where the extensions were, including on the top. The weight of the extensions was too much for the short hair and the beads begin to slide out, I could not even wear a hat to cover it up, It took four days to get back in with her to have them taken out, meanwhile I could not leave the house or go around anyone because I was so embarrassed. My kids laughed hysterically when they saw it but Michelle continued to insist it looked great!! I am now told from other stylists that extensions should not be put in hair that short and Michelle took no responsibility for the hideous due and kept my thousand dollars.
