The W Nail Bar Indianapolis, IN

I typically have a regular nail tech but she was really booked and I couldn’t put off my nail appointment any longer. I did some extensive research because before I found my nail tech, I had issues with nail shops here not fitting my nails to my nail bed, making my nails too wide, or too bulky. I came across The W Nail Bar and I wanted to come in with an open mind and I’m so glad I did!

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and absolutely stylish. I love the boho feel of it. I can also appreciate that they are an all natural nail salon. I want my nails to be healthier and stronger, but I love my length so I got the gel-x service if I’m not mistaken. Not too long after I booked, the nail tech assigned to me, Madi, reached out and asked for any inspo pics I had. I gave her butterfly inspired nails and she definitely executed! The only thing was they didn’t have the charms I wanted, but that’s not a major detractor, considering that I had already noticed that many people were getting pretty basic manis, and it’s nothing to get some charms. Next time I will just need to make sure I ask about it before hand; I normally do but I didn’t this time, so it’s really not their fault. I loved seeing how Madi pulled it together and she took the time to explain the process to me as she went along. She was so sweet and so detailed, which I really appreciate because I am particular about everything, from shape, to colors to designs. I appreciate how attentive she was, and she always checked in to make sure if there was anything I wanted changed or done differently before completing the nails.

I also had booked and got The Pedi, which was done by Maria. She was so funny and again, so sweet, and the conversation and atmosphere was just so pleasant and positive and it really made me feel relaxed. The hot towels were AMAZING on my feet, as I had not had my hands or feet serviced in a little over a month so it’s safe to say I came in looking pretty rough, but Madi and Maria helped me to feel like myself again! I will definitely be going back to those two again, and if you want amazing service I would absolutely recommend them! Thank you so much! I am so happy!

Both Natasha and Crystal were amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and talented. This was the best experience I have ever had in a nail salon. The cleanliness was exceptional. Both check in and check out were seamless and easy. The place itself was gorgeous and modern. I felt so comfortable and welcome immediately. I signed up for a membership right after my first appointment!

Went here to get my nails fixed after a botched GelX removal at another salon (see my other reviews). Madi was amazing and saved my nails! This place is super friendly, very sanitary, and focused on nail health and the customer experience. My nails are already feeling stronger, and they look great. Go here for a nail rescue!

my toes look fine. however, i got the gel x set for my manicure and the lady nipped my cuticles and made two of my fingers bleed. they look nothing like the picture i asked, which isn’t a problem usually, but i got a basic french tip and she messed that up. the nail shape is wonky, the french tip is messy, and now my finger hurts. i’m very disappointed. i didn’t even get an apology for what happened and i was just expected to deal with it. i shouldn’t have to bleed and be hurt in order to get my nails done. i will never go here again.

Do not get GelX at this place. After 3 days 7 of my nails peeled off, and one that’s lifted, so only 2 nails stayed on total. The nail tech was nice and place is clean, but I was told to call the store if I had any issues with my nails within 7 days. When I call the customer service number listed online, it’s rings then says a “BOT” will text you, then the call hangs up. I cannot get through to talk to an actual person. After spending $80 on this set, it’s ridiculous that they fell off after 3 days.
