Wasn’t even going to bother with this review, but my experience has been SOO TERRIBLE that it needs to be shared.

This nail place has been working with influencers to grow their brand. All their photos they post online look amazing. I had agreed to come in for a gel-x with a Russian manicure for free in exchange for a Google review, several Instagram stories, and a reel.

I had Sunni as my tech and while she was very friendly and I loved talking with her, my cuticles were bleeding. I left and didn’t think twice about my nails until I looked at them and realized all of them were an uneven shape, crooked, and the nail overlay was WAYY too big on my nail. A week later they all began to fall off (they advertise their service as lasting 4-6 weeks).

I had told Tracey I could not honestly post anything about them to share with my followers as I was so unhappy with them and do not share anything else I love the product myself. Tracey was very apologetic and offered me to come back in and have the service redone with a senior nail tech. While I was appreciative, it was not worth my time to drive, pay for parking, and tip.

I would HIGHLY caution you with this nail salon.

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the shop’s owner and her adorable puppy! She even knew my name. The decor is modern and fresh. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable. I never once felt pressured or upsold to. My tech was Koasia. This was my first time doing gel-x. I usually do acrylic. So far, I’m really liking it and it saved time. I appreciated the cleanliness, quality of the product used, and the demonstration of skill. It’s been 9 days and not one gem has fallen off. I will definitely be coming back!

I was spending my day downtown Chicago and I’m so glad I came across this Nail Salon inside the WaterTower. I really enjoyed getting my nails done by Camille, she was so friendly and attentive to what I wanted. They take their time with getting your nails done but I loved the outcome. Also, the nail salon itself is the CUTEST!
