I’ve read a couple of the other negative reviews and I hope you can read between the lines (1–bad tipper who is rough on her grown-out nails and doesn’t give the place an opportunity to fix them; 2–somebody who waits a year to leave a review). I’ve been to Star Nails many, many times and have never had an experience like those–it has always been positive and my nails come out looking like a rockstar!
Now 2 years later I come back to get the same thing but with a different color pattern and a week after having them my thumb nail snaps off while I was putting on a sweatshirt. I’m very upset bc I paid $50 ($45 + tip) to get these hoping they would last for at least 3 weeks and they didn’t even last 1. I’m not even a 1/4 as active as I was when I got my first set. I don’t work anymore and since I have had these nails all I have done is school work which include writing notes and typing on my computer. I am very disappointed and I don’t think I will come back if this is the quality I will receive when getting acrylics.
Positive part of my experience is that the nail tech I got was nice and she gave me a nail design that I hadn’t even thought of. I like the way she designed my nails I just wish they would’ve lasted longer.
