She paid attention to detail. Fixed what the last salon did wrong on my nails. Fast quick beyond adequate!!! Very relaxing n an incredible price. Way better than the last place I went to… Over priced n not that good. This place… I’ll be back for sure!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this nail salon. They convinced me to get gel X instead of acrylics, promising it’s healthier and longer-lasting. During the service, a nail fell off, and even though they assured me it wouldn’t happen again, it did. My pinky nail fell off just two days later, and within a week, my nails were a disaster. I’m a student who doesn’t do manual labor, just takes notes. When I asked for a refund, they refused, insisting I come back for a fix, but I don’t even live in Boston which they knew so they just gave me a solution that saves them money, because they know i can’t come to Boston. Terrible customer service they were talking over me on the phone and blamed me for why my nails fell off; a waste of $75.

It’s even more frustrating because I treated myself to this nail salon visit after acing my midterm with a perfect score, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment.

I went in for an Acrylic fill in and shorter nails. I was told I couldn’t get the color I wanted, because I needed a new set & the new set would cost $75. According to the the board hanging on the wall it’s $37 for a new Set & $10 to take off an old set. So I asked her why do I have to pay $75 for a new set ? If the fixed prices on the board say otherwise. She tried to excuse it with $10-$15 for removal depends how hard it is to take the old set off. Then she said the length of the new nails. I replied to her I don’t want long nails I want my nails the same length as her nails. So she said $52 I said ok then she asked for shape and then I said the same shape she has, she said that will be $62. At that point I was done and over it and felt like she was trying to upsell cause she knew I was a foreigner & I also didn’t feel like I would receive a good service since she didn’t get the $75 she wanted to do my nails. I would never ever recommend this shop to anyone. Bad attitude & unfriendliness is bad for business lady.

I also called at 1pm and was told I could come in at 2pm. I came in 15 mins before the appointment it is courtesy to arrive earlier. So I showed up told her I’ll be back I’ll run down to the drug store a few doors down and I’ll be back by 2 pm. I returned at 2pm to all the drama as stated above + 20mins waiting until I decided this ain’t for me and this ain’t what I want.

The shop itself looks like a hole in the wall next to a construction site, it looks dusty, unkept, and too much stuff in the shop and not enough space. The only reason why they are getting a Star is because if I don’t star it I can’t post. They are not worth the 1 Star they are receiving.

As I walked out, I saw the Gaelic Day Spa (thank God).
Gaelic is clean, a lot of technicians & it has a completely different atmosphere compared to sky. Techs & host are friendly. If works takes me back here again I would definitely visit Gaelic Day spa & I also will recommend to my colleagues on future trips here.

My daughter treated myself and her to a pedicure. The pedicure was simply relaxing and rewarding. We also had our toenails polished as well. The service was simply wonderful. Give it a try this place will leave your feet feeling refreshed and relaxed.

I love doing my nails there but they need to stick with the prices they have on the board or at least update it. I did a medium length acrylic and gel pedicure to be over charged. And they shouldn’t be taking a whole hour and couple minutes before closing just to do your feet then do your nails quickly. I was there 2 hours before closing could of at least say come by tomorrow for your nails. I have done so many designs on my nails that they have charged me less. Never again.
