You guys have lost my business… I understand new ownership but I also believe in customer service and compromise. Last time I went for a root touch up and trim in my opinion was over priced and now it’s all about the money. I come in to have the students learn and I trust them to do that without messing anything up. When I did come in last, I myself as a customer watched the owner and instructor contradict each other while the poor student was trying to do a trim. This makes it very uncomfortable for customers to come in and watch. I understand new owners and new instructors, but I felt the energy in the institute and it isn’t that welcoming anymore and just business. I do know what I’m talking about and was a general manager for a company, so I can easily read into situations without saying anything. Today I went in just to see a couple of friends who are getting trained and gaining experience… I just got straight refused for them to practice on me because I brought in my own stuff, which I only brought so they could look completely normal and professional for my jobs. I wish the beauty academy luck and I only started going there after Bold closed down. Given I only went there so that again friends of mine got practice and it was the best feeling to help the students get in their time and practice on what they needed to fulfill. I would say that company itself needs to work on communication skills and working together as a team and probably customer service a bit. They need to realize they aren’t the only cosmetology school in town and customers/clients only come in there to help the students learn, have a safe environment for self care, and yes they are saving a bit of money! I will tell you I would rather go somewhere else for now on and stop giving my money to a company that wastes most of my day away and makes it uncomfortable not just for me but for their own students! I would rather spend more money then be in that environment ever again! Good luck and I hope you guys figure it out! I hope not to hear that there will be retaliation and make it any tougher on them or else maybe this will be the next Bold situation…. I miss the old instructors and I won’t point fingers or say names but I’m sure there will be more issues to come from other clients/customers!
