Luxo Nail Spa Chicago, IL

I moved to Chicago about a year and a half ago, and I was dreading going through the process of finding a new nail technician. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I knew finding someone that didn’t rush through my appointments and spent ample time on shaping my nails could be a struggle. I tried several different nail salons before landing at Luxo Nail Spa and finding Cherry.

Shortly after I met Cherry, we began to discover how damaged my nails were due to them being improperly cared for at previous salons. At one point, I had FIVE of my nails break, crack, and / or lift in the span of 3 weeks. I was extremely frustrated that I had been paying so much money over the years just to have my nails be weak and break. Cherry assured me that we could help my natural nails become stronger and healthier if I trusted her, had a little patience, and was consistent with my nail appointments. And that is exactly what happened! After a few appointments with Cherry, I already started noticing a difference in the strength of my nails. I also noticed that my cuticles grew back evenly & healthier due to her properly and thoroughly cleaning them each appointment.

Not only is Cherry an outstanding nail technician, but she’s overall just a great human as well. We’ve had both super playful and super deep conversations during my appointments. I truly enjoy my time with her. I can’t recommend her enough!

UPDATE 3/1: Cherry has done it again!! The precision on line work is out of this world. There’s no one better!!

Cherry is my go to and I cannot recommend her enough! Her attention to detail is immaculate, from nail shape to cuticle care and everything in between. I’ve always been thrilled with my service and will continue to come back. 5/5!

My nails have never made me this happy!! I was a bit nervous about trying the builder gel nails since I’ve never done it before, but the results are so natural and I’m excited that they will help my nails grow out 🙂 Cherry was great at explaining the whole process and I’m genuinely looking forward to my next appointment.

Cherry!!! I don’t leave reviews, but she deserves one. I am working on growing my nails out so I got the BIAB overlay in early Dec by someone else because Cherry was not available. But I was able to get an appointment with her for my fill in. I am so happy with my nails. She cleaned my cuticles up and just did a great job in making my nails look good. She will be the only one I ever go to. The reviews I read about her were accurate! I look forward to going back in a few weeks.

The salon it self was clean, and inviting. I was greeted by a nice man when I walked in. It’s spacious and not cramped. I like that the nail colors are in a nice book and not hanging off a giant ring like most places.

I’ve been seeing Cherry at Luxo Nail Spa now for nearly a year and I wouldn’t go to any other nail salon in chicago. She does an outstanding job every time, she’s such an amazing nail artist, she never fails me when I give her full creative liberties either! I used to get dip manicures all the time and they destroyed my nails; Cherry started me on builder gel and my nails have never been more strong 💅🏻
