Luxe Nails Wilmington, NC

I have been going to Luxe Nails and receiving services from Lynn for about 6/7 months now and she does such a great job. She really takes great care of my nails (even when I break one, she does her best to repair), she pays attention to what I ask for and gives me a fantastic experience every time I visit. I get gel manicures about twice a month and gel pedicures about once every other month. I don’t tend to ask for a whole lot of nail art, but even when I do, she emulates exactly what I ask. The other nail techs here are also great and always very friendly when I speak to them. I plan to continue using Luxe Nails for as long as I live in Wilmington! 😊

Quality of this salon has gone from 5 stars to zero. Upon our most recent visit, the two older ladies that did our nails deliberately didn’t do what we requested. (Shape change, colors, style) I asked for a French manicure but wasn’t able to get one due to the old polish not being filed off entirely. There wasn’t any attention to detail. Half my nails have huge gaps in between the nail bed and skin with the nail not being entirely painted. As a whole, the set looks so inconsistent. They’re all thick and janky looking.
We have no faith that their tools are sanitized either, as I left the salon hours ago and 4 of my fingernails are still stinging/burning.
I wish to return and ask for someone else to redo the manicure, but I don’t have any expectations of being compensated for the trouble. We’re finding a new salon 💔

I am from Maryland but, now Live in Virginia! I traveled for work and stayed in Wilmington, NC so, I decided to get my Nails done so, checked reviews and was very disappointed in all the reviews that customers were leaving about their services. I was just gonna give up but, I let my spirit lead me and went to Luxe Nails and I am so glad I called so, from the telephone call to all of my services was Top Notch!!! It has been over 30 days since I got my nails dipped & a pedicure performed and I could actually go another few weeks on getting my services done again. My services was provided by the first gentleman that sits on the left as soon as you walk past the reception area (I am extremely disappointed in myself that I can’t remember his name but, we had great conversation, he was very professional, friendly and did the best dip and pedicure service I have ever had since I was 23 years old!!!) The customers were very friendly and interacted with each other it was just an overall very relaxing and enjoyable time for me. Almost like being in a melonated Hair or Barber Salon but, this was a mixed crowd!!!! I will definitely be back again in my travels!!!! It has been way over 60 days for me and my nails haven’t cracked or broke, and still holding strong at this time. I am definitely going back to Wilmington, NC to get my nails done again by this gentleman!!!! My advice to you would be to go and get your services done here; you won’t be disappointed!!! A super relaxing place to get my pedicures. Staff is always pleasant, customers interact. And yes, we guys like having our feet done. Felicia takes good care of me and Cheryl and Madison are cool to be around as well! You will enjoy this place!
