I do highly recommend Essence Nails. I had a horrible experience at another salon that’s a block away. My nails were horribly airbrushed and I had a crooked nail. It was a really bad experience. When I came out of that salon, I Googled the closest salon and I found Essence Nails. I was panicking because they were closing in 25 minutes. I thought to myself, I need a miracle. Miracles do happen because Be did an AMAZING job fixing the crooked nail. The the polish cover-up was on point. Be is a very skilled nail tech! She was able to fix the crooked nail in less than 10 minutes.
I have been bouncing from salon to salon and trying to find a salon to go to regularly. After this experience, Essence will be my home nail salon. The horrible experience at the other salon led me to the salon that I have been looking for for years.
I met Vanessa & I’m pretty sure she will be doing my brows also. That’s a huge win because I was looking for a place for brows. Everyone in the salon was so kind and welcoming. I feel like the universe led me to Essence Nails. I can’t wait to see them again. Thank you SO MUCH!

Had just gotten my nails done in hometown before moving daughter in at UNCW last week. Broke a nail while shopping for a rug and walked into Essence Nail Salon to see if they could color match the broken nail and repair it. No wait, super friendly and was able to match my nail color! She wasn’t even going to charge me, but I insisted on paying her. High recommend this nail salon!
