Absolutely terrible nails. The tech didn’t even remove all of the polish from before. You can clearly see the brown underneath. The cuticle area is very messy and bumpy. Overall, the nails are lumpy and uneven. The tech who did the pedicure was very nice, but the tech who did the fill was very rude. Don’t go to Lucky Star unless you want messy, lumpy, and nasty nails.

My husband, daughter and I just left here and we were treated AMAZINGLY. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they truly deserve it. My husband and I got volcano pedicures done while our little two year old got treated like a princess. Kim (the owner) was so welcoming of giving the little lady a gel manicure & pedicure. While we got pampered by Irene & Lindsey! We will definitely be making this a monthly thing. These ladies are so welcoming and we all adored it ❤️

$40 for a poorly done pedicure. The pedicure technician seemed to be in a rush, and had poor customer service. I had to ask her to please remove the skin before she added polish.
$35 for a very simple gel manicure. The tech was sweet and young, but my hands were never soaked and the cuticle was never pushed back, nor the skin was removed.

This place looks like it has not been swept for weeks, and the equipment seemed dirty and unsanitary. I will not be returning to Lucky Star.

This has been my go to place for a decade. I can’t praise them enough! Kim is a master of her craft, she always gives me exactly what I ask for. She even got my mother to get hers done (something she’s never really been into) and my mom was very pleased and said she felt like she had new hands.
It’s always best to have an appointment, but they do accept walk-ins. The shop has been renovated and is looking elegant! The prices are decent, the staff is very friendly, I like that they are a family business, too! Support local shops, my friends!!

I will continue to recommend this place to anyone who asks

I came in and asked for a full set of nails and After an hour and a 1/2 or so I was so upset that I just paid and walked out and started crying in my car because I just wanted to do something nice for myself. I asked for ballerina coffin short full set of nails and what I got is what is shown below. This is beauty school quality and I was still charged $75. I heard the owner on the phone with another client that was not happy and I can only assume it was from the same nail Tech as the other people that were in there seemed to know what they were doing the owner explained that the person would need to come in and speak specifically to that nail tech and have them fix it. After I heard that and I was so incredibly upset over these nails I decided it was best not even to say anything because if she can’t even do it right the 1st time then what makes me think I need to waste more of my time coming in to have them fixed. I believe her name was Mahi. I’m sorry but these were so horrible they were the worst set I’ve ever gotten this person needs to practice more of that style or not offer to do them. I’m only giving 2 stars because the owner was hospitable and I really liked that her shop was clean.
