Tokara is my nail tech and has been for a few years now. Bijou is a safe place and I trust the nail techs in training from Advanced Nail Tech Academy. My nails are always what I envisioned them to be and if I don’t have a clue, Tokara is magic when she just does her own thing. This is a place where I can get my synergy gel set and know that I am not being played by another tech labeling an acrylic powder as gel and charging extra for it. Tokara actually does gel full sets and I love them more than acrylic, powder, and polygel. The Bijou Nails and Company environment is professional and growing. So find them on Styleseat or stop by on a Saturday to treat yourself.

This is my first time going to the shop. I had an appointment but I got a call not to come. I called to see if my appointment was canceled they said if you can come now come I went. The owner apologized over and over again that she had over booked I said well I had called they told me to come. She says I’m going to give you a free gel nail polish because I don’t want nobody coming in here fighting. I am a 67-year-old retired female. I know I did not look like a threat. Are ready to fight. I did not need a free gel polish .I did not get my free gel polish and the service was horrible that I did get and paid for. I went in for a pedicure. I suggest to you go to U-VY Nail on Hampton and Appleton and learn how other shops do pedicures and manicures.
We have COVID-19 Out here your shop was not clean it was dust everywhere no soap for people to wash their hands, no hand sanitizer, The distancing was poor. You did have mask at the desk so you did read some of the guidelines

This was my first experience with a nail technician and she was so attentive and patient with me to try something new. I use my hands a lot without any gloves and I frown on polish that chips. She suggested a color that I like and assured me this color would not chip.
