My second time going and I am OBSESSED!!! Y&D came highly recommended as one friend of mine has been going to Angela for years!!! I have had the amazing nail tech, Pink, both times and the first SNS dip I got (darker pink) lasted 5 WEEKS without chipping. My nails have never been longer – and I’m excited for this light purple to get me through Easter/spring. It is one of the most affordable nail places that ACTUALLY lasts without chipping! AND once you become a regular, they have a binder to save your “punch” card, which they also log what colors you have gotten!

The best gel pedicure I’ve got in the city!

I used to do my own nails because I just couldn’t deal with cracked gel, poor paint jobs and bad quality procedures in other places. I took a chance on this place because I really needed a pick me up and I cannot be more happy.

Joy really took her time with my feet and cleaned away all the gross cuticles and polished away the dry skin. The gel application was phenomenal and given that I came in with different toe nail lengths she did such a great job getting them all the same size and perfectly square. For $49, this is such a deal for such quality service.

Tried out this salon after a bad experience with my previous salon and while I was apprehensive at first because it wasn’t busy I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and I was seated right away with Joy. Joy did a phenomenal job, she was patient while I selected colors and brought over extra color options for me when I wasn’t satisfied with the first pallet. She was also very gentle and but very precise. There was no polish on my skin after she was done and the color is even. Thank you again Joy!

This is by far my favorite nail salon I’ve visited (ever!). Came in first thing in the morning and the staff was so kind and welcoming, they repaired two broken nails and helped me find the exact chrome color I’d seen on instagram. They spent so much time helping make sure I loved the results, and also recommended restaurants in the area (I just moved!).

When it was time to come back, I was thrilled that they were open late. Everyone consulted in getting the perfect color and had such fun ideas for a holiday style illustration try next time. So thrilled I met this lovely, expert staff at Y&D, can’t recommend enough!!

Such a hidden gem in NYC. Everyone was so caring and attentive. My technician, Vicky, was so gentle and meticulous. This is the first time I came out of a nail appointment completely unharmed (no scratches or cuts or any bleeding at all), and there was no gel glued to my skin or underneath my nails. The attention to detail is really amazing. I requested a relatively complex manicure design and the technicians got together to try and make sure that I was satisfied with my final result. The service was amazing and their package deals are so worth. 👍
