My experience here has been amazing!! I first went about a month ago the day after I had my nails done somewhere else so that they could be fixed. Kyle took great care of my nails!! He was so careful not to catch my cuticles with the dremel and pays very close attention to detail to make sure your nails are exactly as you want them! I just had my second visit with him, and both times I’ve been now, I’ve left with EXACTLY what I was looking for, and no sore fingers, bleeding cuticles, etc. I can’t recommend enough!!

Got a full set of gelx and it is legitimately the worst set of nails I’ve ever had. Each nail was a different length and they are all ski jumps. There is so much gel under my nails they look like shelves. Now I get to spend time tomorrow taking them off because I am too embarrassed to go out in public with them. I had high hopes because of how well rated they were, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. Avoid at all costs!

I discovered Yamada studio a few weeks ago and decided to try it out because of the cute nail deigns. I got a gel manicure with a 3D bow and loved it! I got so many compliments. On top of that it, it lasted 3 weeks even though I swim 3 times as week. I just went back yesterday and requested a different design – foil flakes and glitter with purple jelly nails. I’m quite happy with them and hope they hold up as well as they did last time. I’m already thinking of what I want to try next. Fun salon and really nice staff!

The nails and atmosphere was nice, but i discovered a hair in my nails… I honestly expected more from this place considering 4.9 stars. I’ve never found hair in my nails no matter how bad the place was, so seeing a long hair in my nail was a bit frustrating… not to mention i took quite a drive to go to the studio and I’m not very willing to go back. I don’t think it’s worth $80 for hairy nails, especially for prom.

I love Yamada Studio! A small part of me wants to gatekeep this place since I used to go to White Lotus in Bothell but it became impossible to get an appt when it was time to freshen up my nails and honestly Yamada is better! I have gotten three sets of hard gels with them now and have experienced no lifting which usually always happens to me. I don’t know what they are doing differently, but it’s working! They are also extremely transparent about the price for a design before they even get started so there are no surprises at the register. The tech who has done my nails the last two times always apologizes for taking too much time but she really doesn’t need to, she does an amazing job and my nails last for 3-4 weeks with no issues. If you love getting hard gel or gel x manicures definitely give Yamada a try!
