I’ve been here a handful of times for manicures (gel and acrylic) and they did a good job overall. The atmosphere is also quite nice. However, each time I’ve been here the same woman makes negative comments about my appearance and gives me unsolicited “advice.” While their services have been good so far, I’m hesitant to go back. I go to the salon to feel more confident, not to be put down.

Went in today for a lip wax. The service was fine. But this isn’t the first time I’ve gone in and gone to pay and they tell me a completely different price than the menu price. They just seem to make up a number. The service price is listed as $8. I realized I’d forgotten cash and she said with card it’s $10. Which I was fine paying because I realize some places are charged for card payments. Then the card machine charged an additional .50 cents. Prices should be the same no matter how you pay. And there shouldn’t be additional hidden undisclosed fees.

My simple $23+tip manicure was really bad – lots of cuts and uneven cuticles. And it really hurts (3 days after the manicure). And I didn’t see the lady opening a sanitized set on me, just sprayed a used pilers. The pedicure was not too bad, that is why 2 stars.

This set was $60. I asked for medium coffin French tipped and as natural as possible. She did a great job. It was not thick or bulky. It also doesn’t feel heavy on my fingers. She was a bit rough when it came to shaping and filing but other than that, it was a nice first time experience here.
