I have been to this Salon twice already for pedicures and so far I had a great experience. It’s very clean, nicely decorated, nail techs are friendly, My pedicure was done very well and I got to relax meanwhile I got my Pedicure. I like to feel relaxed and not the loud and noisy nail salons that I have been to which unfortunately they don’t allow you to relax. I will definitely be back!

So I had my nails done on Saturday the lady that did them could only do simple things so she had to have somebody else do what she couldn’t do after I got home I really looked at my nails and the two colors didn’t match except the pink and blue on the two fingers and a few of my fingers nails were coming off. So I got a message from the owner about my review , to come into the salon and have them fix which they did fix them had to go with a different color then what I originally
Wanted done but i just glad they were able to fix them for free oh and was also told I’m gonna need a new set the next time i go to get them filled u
UPDATE: so I decided to go back and get a whole new set of nails because my other ones were coming off they’ve been on for three months so I needed new ones so I went with a dip and let me tell you the lady that didn’t mine did such a fantastic job would definitely be going back in three weeks. My nails look almost like the picture that I showed the lady just wanna say thank you

Today was the first time I have been to Velvet Nails. The shop is beautiful. It was a bit loud, a lot going on all over. My nail tech was Tina. She kept filing my nails shorter and shorter and was even filling my skin a few times. She told me I should have made my nails longer for my manicure because they were too short, but again she just kept filing shorter. The paint was a pretty good job. There was a lot under my nails and on my skin. I asked for a pink French manicure but she just did the white tip. Which is also ok, not a big deal. The massages and lavender that I picked for my scents were perfect. It was a bit pricey for the amount of times I showed her to fix the paint and asked her to stop making my finger nails shorter.
Overall it was a good experience and I will go again.
UPDATE: Not even a week later and the Gel on my toes are coming off already. Normally gel on my toes last for about a month or 2. I have never had it last this short amount of time. Very disappointed.
2nd UPDATE: The owners reached out to me about my concers. They brought me in the fix my concerns at no charge to me. They were really sweet and apologetic and understood my concerns. He even offered to fix the color and do what I originally requested but that would have been TRIPLE the work for him, I was happy enough they were fixing my concerns. In the end, they even tried to deny leaving them a tip but I left it for them anyways because they went out their way to make sure I was happy with my services. I even updated my rating because they really do go out their way to make sure their customers are happy.

Um yeah 20/10 recommend. June did AMAZING!! I don’t know much about nails cause I don’t get them done often (that’s gonna change now) and she was just so helpful. I showed her my inspo pic and she did exactly what I wanted. The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous and everyone that works there is so so nice. This was easily the best experience I ever had getting my nails done and I will be back.

I just have to share my experience with these absolutely fabulous owners of Velvet Nails and Spa…. This is a prime example of what it means to truly care about your clients…. This experience will have me be a client for life. 💕Last week, there was a conflict that caused my nail tech to fall behind in her schedule… By the time I got to sit down, it was already an hour past my appointment. My tech was jumping from me, to the chair next to me to fix a broken nail, to reception to check people out, to the telephone to schedule more appointments, etc. She was slammed. She then got to do my nails and unfortunately, I was disappointed with them. I messaged their Facebook page 4 days after my fill, and they told me to come in ASAP to get my nails fixed. They had me come in after hours so my amazing tech / owner could handle all of my concerns and make sure I left with the most beautiful nails. She also made sure that I was happy and more than satisfied!! She did not charge me, nor did she accept a tip and she apologized to me for having me come back. You will never meet a better group of nail salon owners and techs than the ones here at Velvet Nails and Spa… I promise you that! Thank you, June for everything you do!!!
