I don’t get manicures or pedicures often, but I have reasonable standards. I got the Pearl pedicure package, which includes 25 minutes of “massage” including hot stones. Most of the “massage” was barely light caresses. As this was the main purpose of getting the second most expensive predicted package, I left deeply disappointed. Even after the visit, I still have notable rough callouses on my heels and some excess skin at the corner of my pinky toe was not trimmed away at all. Furthermore, my big toenails were trimmed to weird, blocky shapes without communication, and the nail color was put on inexpertly – totally missing in places on half of my nails and the top coat not applied across all of the nail color. Finally, for the last 15 minutes of my visit, a religious song was put on loudly and on loop. I finally left before my nails had cured, as I absolutely could not stand it any longer. I clearly stated the problem, but no move was made to stop or change the music.
I would not go again, despite an otherwise nice ambiance. Was the job done? Technically yes, but one does not pay $67 for a mediocre pedicure.

VStar is a clean establishment. The staff is friendly enough. I went in on my first visit to just have my cuticles trimmed on my nails nothing more and she did a good job. I returned for a pedicure. It was ok – seemed a bit rushed but there weren’t any customers waiting. The polish on my big toe wasn’t all the way down to the cuticle bed so it looked like it had been on for a couple of weeks and the nail had grown out. So overall it wasn’t bad but just not great for me. I don’t think I’ll return for a pedicure.

I have been back several times, because the prices are affordable and consistent…and even though I see a different nail tech almost every time, each time the quality of my nails has been outstanding. They really do a good job here, honestly better than any place I have ever been. They take extra care that the nails are smooth and even, and they never lift up at the back. Definitely recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about VStar Nail & Spa ! Absolutely Love how the dipped nail are done and how they feel light just like your very own. The staff members are trained in providing relaxing hand and arm massages during your manicure treatments. My service was quick but not rushed. Clean salon and the staff is welcoming and also very nice.
