Deb is so knowledgeable!! She literally looked at my face and matched me perfectly for a concealer. She’s very kind as well, and we had a lovely conversation. The whole staff was quick to help where they could support both their coworkers and the guests, and were extremely polite. We are fortunate to have a store like this in Westminster!

Would have given 5 starts because Cheyanne is always so nice and helpful. But there’s a new younger blonde girl at the checkout counter who is totally rude and impersonal. Didn’t greet me and looked annoyed. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her after I told her it was my birthday and asked about my free gift. She said I needed the email which I understand but the same thing happened to me last year and she acted like I was lying then rolled her eyes and said “fine I guess just pick one”. I even showed her my license and said “I promise I’m not lying. Today is my actual birthday. I’m just trying to take myself out for a nice day.” I also don’t like that the second you tell them you have a gift card or a coupon but you need to get it from your phone they tell you “well then step aside so I can help someone who is actually ready”. Literally heard those words from both cashiers on 2/27/2024. So impatient and rude. I’ve always gone to ulta instead of Sephora because their customer service is awful, but now I feel the same about ulta. Is this how you’re training new employees now?

Salon services are way overpriced. That said, Christine was extremely friendly and personable. She did a fantastic job shaping my eyebrows, and she clearly takes a lot of pride in her work.

Hello, I just wanted to make management aware that Tuesday, December 26th, I not greeted or helped when I entered the store due to employees having conversation. After a while I asked a lady who was stocking so that I was not interrupting the other employees. The woman was blonde with wavy hair if I remember correctly. I understand that she was busy on another task when I asked her about a product but she responded with a attitude when she said “what about it” after I asked if she could “tell me about it” (meaning what is it and if others tend to purchase it commonly. I brushed it off and later went to check out with the same woman. I had 2 gift cards and 2 $10 rewards. I stated when I got to the cash register that I would make 2 separate purchases and she stared at me for multiple seconds and then replied “you have two gift cards, you use them together” very sarcastically and like she was talking down to me. I attempted to explain that I understood that but I also have 2 rewards that to my understanding can not be used together. The rest of the interaction felt very embarrassing as I was also talked down to because I was unaware that Ulta Gift cards have pin numbers for extra security and was wondering why it wasn’t working.
In all, I was mortified in front of other customers behind me in line and the interaction was very unkind from the start.
I understand that it is the day after Christmas and people are upset to be at work but It felt very clearly taken out on me. I know this is not the fault of the store but rather the employee was having a bad day but I’ve never had this type of issue before while shopping and I am a new customer to Ulta 🙁

ALLISON! She deserves a mega raise! I called in about an email I received from Ulta beauty about an event. Though we were both confused she was very patient with me to find out which event and to give me all the information. When we realized that this Ulta was not part of the event she informed me that they can do all these things IN STORE at ANYTIME. HOW HAVE I NOT KNOW THIS FOR SO LONG???? She was so helpful and sweet and over all if her boss is reading this… YOU ALREADY KNOW SHE DESERVES IT GIVE IT TO HER. Bless Ulta for not just being about makeup but all the hair and skin care too and once again THEY WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO USE IT. Anyway they are awesome just go I always have a great time.
