The three stars is because even if you make an appointment, you still wind up waiting for a long time. It’s happened to me more than once. To me, that defeats the purpose of making an appointment.
They have very comfortable chairs and pedicure chairs. The vibe is very relaxed. The staff is always pretty nice with the exception of one or two people.
I always get the dip for my manicure and it lasts a long time. I really like it. I get gel/shellac for my pedicure and it lasts a while as well. I like the various types of pedicure options that they have available, with some of them having hot wraps, scrubs, etc. The different types of pedicures are all different price points. The prices are reasonable for Seattle, and it’s not that hard to get in to get your nails done.
Overall, I recommend Tru Nail Lounge for your nail needs, but I’m not sure an “appointment” is actually an appointment.
I don’t often treat myself to a mani/pedi since I don’t wear nail polish at work, but my sister is getting married this weekend and my cat recently passed away, so I decided to indulge in a little self-care. They were able to squeeze me in last minute and did a lovely job. I’m very happy with the results.
