1 star- Clean environment & Friendly staff, quick- but too quick. Got a pedicure today and gel nails with tips. The polish on my toes is an absolute mess. Lumpy and not smooth at all. My nails?! Omg the shape is horrendous!! No where near natural looking and sooo thick!! I’m going on a cruise in 2 days and I look freaking ridiculous. I’ll never go here again. Not even sure what the lady’s name was who did them- she was very nice. But the job done was terrible. Been sitting in my car crying since I got out and actually looked closer at everything. No idea what the hell im going to do now. $100 for this mess?!!!

I messaged them through Facebook and they agreed to take me back in this evening at 630 ( they close at 7). The lady redid my toenail polish and completely reshaped my fingernails and repainted them.. she spent an hour and a half making them right again! She stayed an hour past closing time, her husband and young child came in and he was very polite and also apologized for the first job that was done.. this gal was meticulous! I am so happy I went back! Maybe the First Lady just needs more training or to slow down.. I’m changing my review to 4 stars only because the first gal needs some work and I really didn’t have time for this to happen since I still need to finish getting ready for our cruise.. but the second nail tech has my deepest thanks and 5+ stars!! (She sat me at table spot number 3) see before and after photos.

I absolutely love the work that Tropical Nails does!! I normally have Mindy and she’s very sweet and does a great job! I normally do a dip powder mani and it never disappoints!! The staff is very nice as well!

I’ve been going here for probably 4 years now, since the middle of my time at UVM as a student. I love them! I go every 3 weeks and they are always kind, consistent, and do amazing work. I usually do a gel manicure and regular pedicure, but I’ve done tips as well and everything has always been phenomenal. They take a lot of care with the work they do and pay attention to detail.

Made an appointment for my daughter’s birthday. We showed up 30 minutes early and they got us in right away. We had a really good experience with them. They were all very nice and our nails look so nice!

Been going to Tropical Nails for years! Very friendly and always does a great job! Listens and goes out of their way to make sure you are happy with your services! Prices are very reasonable!
