I’ve been going to Town Nail for a few months leading up to my wedding to try out different styles. I have almost exclusively seen Tina Le as my nail stylist so can’t speak to other stylists or technicians.

First, don’t let the basement or small space scare you away!! The tools used are always clean and for how small it is, it doesn’t really bother me and they haven’t been overcrowded when I’ve been there.

I typically get a pedicure once a month and a manicure every 2-3 weeks. I started with regular dip manis and now get dip manis with extensions.

Tina is so wonderful. She really takes her time and listens to what I’m looking for. Photos of styles always help! Even though doing dip extensions is a time consuming process (my latest was 2.5 hours!) it is totally worth it in my opinion. Tina is so friendly and doesn’t get annoyed. She works cleanly and evenly, always double checking if I like the length/shape/color of my nails.

With dip, I tried out several different colors. With dip extensions (which I will do for my wedding) I did an ombré French and a French so far. Both came out exceptionally well. My ombré French dip extension mani lasted for over 2.5 weeks, and the only extension that came off was totally my fault. I probably could have gone another few days with that mani. I just got my dip extension French and I’m sure it will last 3 weeks or so, the extensions are a little shorter.

I’ve never had issues with my dip cracking or peeling soon after the mani, but have had that happen at the 3 week mark. Toenail paint lasts 4+ weeks.

Dip extension manis are $85. Note that they do take card but tip is cash only (no Venmo).

I booked an appointment with Town Nail and Skin Salon via my ClassPass.. I got confirmation that my pedicure was booked. When I got to the place they told me that they couldn’t accommodate my booking. The woman who appeared to be the manager on duty didn’t apologize and was quite rude. I sat down to shoot an email to ClassPass customer service when one of the other nail technicians said she would take me. She did a great job, which is the only reason that I am giving two stars. I wish I had gotten her name. There are too many places in Boston where you can both receive good services and be treated with respect. @Town Nail and Skin Salon isn’t one of them.

I called in the morning to make an appointment. They were on time, did a great job on the gel manicure and pedicure, and were well-priced! Everyone who worked there was very nice and I had a great experience!

I got dip powder done on my hands and a regular pedicure. First, the lady hurt most of my fingers filing the dip. It has only been one week since I got my dip done and one of my nail already chipped. I get dip powder done frequently and it usually lasts me for a month. Not worth it at all
