I made an appointment for dip powder. This was my first time going to Top Nails. As soon as I walked in, I could tell that the place was not clean. It smelled like dirty feet. The nail tech came out of a side room stretching as if she just woke up. She didn’t understand the color I asked for even though I explained it several times. The owner asked the tech to redo the color. The tech was rough with my hands and cut me several times with the drill. The proof is in the pictures. The nail clipper she used came right out of a drawer and wasn’t cleaned. So unsanitary! The owner apologized and gave me $5 off. I told her saying sorry isn’t enough and my experience was unacceptable. After the treatment I received, I should have received the service for free. I was there for 2 hours because the nail tech is poorly trained. So disappointed! Do not go here! Zero stars!
-Great for quick gel manicure (in and out in 30min)
-Pleasant staff
-Quiet environment (only 2 other patrons on a Friday afternoon)
Cons:
-Seemed to have poor hygiene as some tools were not clearly shown to have been cleaned for the next client, and some were used on multiple hands
– the nails peeled within one week and one of my gel nails fell off
