I’ve been here multiple times and it’s usually good but this day the man(Darrell) who did my nails was really rude I asked if he could do my nails a certain way and he couldn’t and I was fine with that it was just curved nails I only wanted a simple red set for my birthday. he started to just put acrylic on my finger/ nails/ skin and they were really thin. I asked if he could apply a little more acrylic and he was like “ you have to get somebody else to do your nails.” This nice couple fixed my nails and I was very pleased. But I will not be back. Darrell is plan rude. Request Kim for a pedicure she is an absolute sweetheart!!!!!

Unfortunately, I don’t want to return here to get my nails done even though I have previously spent hundreds of dollars on this business, and I have loved the nail tech who I would go to nearly each time. I’ve been left feeling betrayed. Each time that I’ve came here, I’ve broken multiple nails within a few days to a week of getting them done. It’s been heartbreaking to be in so much pain from broken nails. (All of the pictures are from different fingers), I even had a 4th one repaired from the same set at a different salon. I also experienced disrespect when walking in one day at 5:50pm, and being told that they wouldn’t take me to repair my broken nail that had cracked, was bleeding, and was hurting (even though they close at 7). Then when I returned the next day, they used super glue instead of replacing the entire nail, causing it to break back up again. I went to other salons and hadn’t encountered the same issues. Something about the materials that they use are really cheap is what I’m guessing. It isn’t the most comfortable place to get your nails done either due to the smallness of the building. The area where this nail salon is located is extremely ghetto as well.

I just recently went to this place and I have been going for months prior and they’ve done a great job so I’m not sure what was different about today but I will not be returning because of the customer service. I explained to my technician that I wanted a coffin shaped blue set of nails and this is what he decided he wanted me to have. His chair is the fourth one down on the right and he was extremely inappropriate flirted with me numerous times even though I denied his advances spoke about situations that were inappropriate and explain to me that he “gave up weed and started using crack and that it helped him get through the day” I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed and decided to pay for what it was and leave. At that moment I wanted to leave so badly that I paid $45 for poor work and service. He was more focused on the store closing early that day then doing my nails I will not be returning to TJ nails.
