I came to get a professionally done manicure but what a disappointing experience I received. I asked for a squire with round corners manicure; I specified before the tech began cutting, my natural and extremely long and strong nails, that I wanted ALL of my nails the same length. I’m attaching the picture to show what squire with round corners manicure all nails the same length would look like after you leave this salon…at least this is what I ended up with today. Basically the tech didn’t know how to cut and polish the nails and how to properly cut the cuticle 🥹. When I questioned that my nails were poorly cut and were all different length, I was told by the salon manager that my nails were all the same length, it’s just my fingers were some longer some shorter 😳…no kidding. He specified a few times that my nails would look the same length when the tech would finish my manicure. I asked him if he thought that it was my first time getting a manicure? I was surprised by the manager’s reaction! After that, I didn’t even say anything, I mean after the salon manager looked at my “manicure” and heard the problem that I had, didn’t see the problem then what else could I say? They clearly knew I was upset, yet the tech did absolutely nothing to at least finish what he started the best way that he could; or maybe I’m wrong and it was his best and the best this nail salon can produce. And I paid for this horrible manicure even tho I probably shouldn’t have.

Edit to add: 24 hours after appointment and a second nail has broke from typing on my keyboard at work.
Very disappointed in my experience today. I have been in Bluffton for 7 years and I went to tip toe for at least 5 of those years. I took a break as the people I saw there changed salons. So today on my break from work I needed something quick and close so I decided to come to here. Awful choice. I needed a fill and a polish change, which should be easy. The polish came out streaky and uneven, the acrylic was bumpy and thick in places as well as on my skin, gel polish all over my cuticles, the shape of my nails was completely wrong and they were uneven and all different. I didn’t have time to get it fixed at that moment as I had to go back to work. I came back at 5 after work asking for them to be fixed and the guys that helped fix them did a great job with the shape and the polish. However, 2 hours later, I was scratching my arm, no trauma or jamming my finger, one of my nails broke clean off. I am so irritated bc I went back TWICE to get what I wanted and then they broke. At this point I just want my money back so I can go somewhere decent.

It’s a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. And I recommend it to everyone.

Love this place!! I have been going to Tip toe now for almost 7 years. I would never go anywhere else unless my nail tech moved!! They do a beautiful job and it always smells so clean.

I love everything about tip toe nails.. customer service is great., Always greeted with an welcoming spirit.. my fav nail tech is anne.. Always giving me what i ask.. very greatful for everyone there..
