It was my first time at W bar and my first impression the place is spotless and no harsh smell of acrylics because they have none. It is totally different from another other salon. I am diabetic so I am very cautious when getting my cuticles cut and the tech I had cut them and it didn’t hurt nor did I bleed. The tech pulled a new file and buffer out. They took time on my nails and I didn’t feel rushed like past nail experiences. The only thing I didn’t like hearing employee jargon or drama while in the chair. I would just not do that infront of customers talk about a customer having a a bad experience in front of a new customer. I would just be more mindful of what you say infront of customers on the floor and save those types of talk for off the floor not infront of customers. But besides that I enjoyed my time and I will returning. I am very happy with my nails and the level of cleanliness and the staff overall.

My boyfriend and I made an appointment and received absolutely terrible service. The two young ladies working there were incredibly unprofessional. During my manicure, I was cut, and just a few days later, the gel nail polish started peeling off. To top it all off, they had another client come in during our appointment, making us wait. We paid $275 (including gel x French tip, two manicures and two pedicures with one gel polish) for this awful service and shoddy quality. This place is a complete rip-off! I hope they hire more experienced nail techs.

For Mother”s Day I scheduled an appointment best idea ever! The 2 ladies Danielle and Kelsey did an amazing job on my mother and I. I know the prices are high but for the great quality of not only my nails but also the service.

If you’re looking for a welcoming place to come get your nails done, this is it. Lux is an amazing technician and she takes such good care of her clients. I felt comfortable through the whole process as a new client. I love that they use copper bowls and don’t have jets for dirt, debris and bacteria to get stuck in. The place is clean and the vibes are immaculate. I recommend parking behind the west side market, it’s right around the corner.

I’m only giving three stars because Dani was so sweet and amazing. I’ve truly never felt so comfortable in a salon.
However, it’s been a week and my gel nails are already peeling off. So disappointing for spending $170. Given that so many other people have had this issue, I would not recommend this salon.
