I have been coming to The W Nail Bar for several months. This is my first experience with Tika H. for the Dew Effect Mani and I can’t recommend her enough! She is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She took the time to really moisturize my nails and also gave me some at-home recommendations for maintenance. Extremely satisfied with her service!

I made an appointment for a gel manicure after months of trying to grow my nails out from past dip manicures. My appointment was Wednesday and it is Friday and they are already starting to chip. Pretty disappointed that my gel nails only lasted 2 days when I paid over $50 and was told they should last 2 weeks. I see in other reviews they offer a touch up within 7 days, but that is really just a waste of my time. The appointment itself was great and my tech was very nice, but the manicure gets 2 stars for not lasting.

This was my nail bar of choice in Columbus and I’ve even gone a few times since moving to another city. I had my nails done here for my wedding in 2021 and had them done during a recent visit to the city this year. My artist was very sweet and while my nails looked great (I did a basic gel manicure), they began chipping just 3 days after the appointment. For the price, I was very disappointed in that, but I don’t think it’s reflective at all of the person who did them.

With that said, I’ll be back eventually when I can. The salon is very comfortable compared to others I’ve been to, and staff is typically very friendly.

Edit to respond to the business reply: a 7 day policy is great, however, as my review stated, I do not live in Columbus anymore so that would not have helped me.

My gel manicure only lasted a day before chipping/peeling.

Updating after reading other reviews with similar issues and seeing the “fix” is to go back in for a touch up…how is that helpful if you get your nails done specifically for a vacation? Very poor policy.

Update to update: When they reply that they have reached out directly, that is a lie. I have not been contacted by anyone.

Maddie M. at the German Village location is amazing! My nails always look their best when I visit. She’s the best! The W is a great place for nails.
