Wendy did my gel mani and Michelle did my regular polish pedicure. I recommend both.
Wendy was great for my mani. She shaped and cleaned my nails well and applied 3 thin layers of gel polish. She was attentive and delicate when removing my previous gel polish. She shows you her shape before moving on. She doesn’t speak a lot of English so communicating can be difficult, but others are around to help if needed.
Michelle was great for my pedi. She cleaned my nails thoroughly and her massage was relaxing. She communicates throughout asking if you’d like your nails to be cut and to what shape. She shows you the shape before moving on. She’s very easy to communicate with and so getting designs done with her should be very easy in the future.
The salon is clean and well appointed. Good gel and regular polish selection. Easy to park. Easy to check in and easy to pay. I wish they had the Venmo/zelle info of techs easily accessible at checkout, but you can tip via traditional cash or card.
Of course, it’s only been one visit, and we will see how long the nails last (in DC/VA my nails last 3 weeks no chips or breaks but in Houston it’s been very hit or miss so I don’t think all salons use high quality genuine materials), but for Venetian Nail Spa so far so good. 5/5
