Booked a gel manicure while visiting Halifax. The quality was sloppy and uneven shape. She tried to fix it but it didn’t help it. I wasn’t comfortable to have it redone at their salon given the experience. I wish I hadn’t paid for the service.

I’ve visited twice for shellac pedicures and I always have such a great experience with Kelsie. She always makes an effort to chat with me, and I think she matches my energy, which I love. I’m self conscious about my feet and hairy legs at times, but she helps me feel at ease by meeting my questions with kindness and reminding me that my feet! Look! Normal!

I’ve had pedicures in the past at other places that did a poor job trimming my nails, and this often results in painful regrowth on my big toe due to the slant of the nail. I didn’t experience that with Kelsie, which I really appreciate. It’s obvious that she knows what she’s doing.

I’m really enjoying the vibe and cleanliness at The Ten Spot and I can’t really see myself going elsewhere. It’s a really beautiful and bright location, and the pedicure stations have a lovely view of the park. 10/10

Horrible experience. Had a pedicure with Kelsie who was incredibly rude and unfriendly. She never asked me if I was happy with the nail shape or colour and did a poor job overall (polish was streaky and uneven, left peeling skin, and didn’t even apply moisturizer). To top it off, I was seated next to two others having pedicures who were getting the total opposite experience from conscientious technicians, which made the sullen and careless attitude even more glaring. Watching the ‘cleaning’ job of the pedicure bowls — a light spray and minimal scrub of only the bottom of the bowl — would have been enough on its own to avoid this place. I left feeling awful, especially given the high price tag. Will certainly never return and recommend against giving this salon a try.

First time at Ten Spot and had Emma for a wax. Very professional and kind. Excellent job, nice atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Definitely my new spot.
