Two stars but only because the lady who did my pedicure was kind. The tech that did my manicure on the other hand nicked my cuticle, and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. I told her to not cut my cuticles and she continued to cut them. She also kept insisting on a gel manicure, when I already said no. I hate gel manicures and how they ruin your natural nails. I prefer natural short clean nails. I continued to be kind and patient, with her and distracted myself in a conversation with my friend. The tech then did the WORST French manicure I’ve ever seen. She painted pink base over the white tips. They also did not have a natural pink base so she used an opaque pink. ???? Also her idea of shaping my nails turned out to be the shape of a trapezoid… not round, not square. Didn’t even ask what my preference is.
The entire place lacks ventilation and you’re instantly hit with fumes. The foot spas are not sanitized in between clients and there is nail debris and dust all over the chairs. Needless to say, I still provided a tip but CLEAN. UP. There are better salons in La Jolla. I only went here because my friend booked it. Don’t waste your money.

Ripped a huge chunk of my cuticle out, wouldn’t stop bleeding, then proceeded to apply NAIL GLUE on it to make the bleeding stop. Didn’t sanitize the nail glue after. STAY AWAY! worst nail spot in San Diego, I’ve never been to worse.

I always have healthy, pretty, perfect nails thanks to the Nail Lounge of La Jolla. I’ve never had such strong nails after repeatedly getting gel polish. I don’t know how they do that. Han does my manicures and she is meticulous and detailed. She always does a wonderful job on my designs. Tiffany does my more than perfect pedicures and she’s simply the best.

Less then 24 hours my nail came out while I was taking off my car key. I called to get appointment to fix my nail the person on the phone and person wasn’t helpful and kept telling me that they are fully booked today. I don’t know I felt wasted time about this business attitude

The salon may be good, but the attitude is not attentive. I signed up for the day by 11 am. I waited 30 minutes and was advised to go to another salon. I needed to get 2 nails repaired! It is worth considering ….
