I loved the people but my hair was so messed up by the guy mark handy. I was so upset I went in to get a balayage touch up and to make the blonde in my hair brighter. He does the top of my hair orange and yellow blonde with copper highlights and a dark orange band. It was bad enough for me to reschedule to fix it and even though it looks a lil better I now have green and blue highlights and a significant band going around my hair. To my knowledge he’s been doing hair for quite some time my only thought is he was rushing through on a Saturday and messed my hair up because he wanted to go home. I would post a picture but I’m completely mortified and try to keep my hair up now so no one has to see just how bad it really is. The worst part is I liked the people there and was hoping I found my new salon. But it seems I’ll just be taking my collage and academy pictures while hiding green and blue hair because it’s so damaged I can’t even do anything about it. From others in the area they sounded like a good place and there are several other stylists besides him but if you are wanting a more two toned dimensions look font use him. He seems like a nice guy but doesn’t do those styles of dye well. Trust, I’m not a Karen in any way I badly wanted to like it even after he changed it completely but it was and still is just terrible 😭

This salon is in a grand old world style hotel ( no longer a hotel) ,the lobby and meeting/dining room is maintain as old world style of the Printup Hotel.

This salon is amazing! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! I had the honor to have mark do my hair color and cut. He is AMAZING he listens to what you want and makes it so much more than you imagined. Also I believe Sherri did my eyebrows and she was amazing too!!! Definitely will return. Highly recommend this salon!

I am from Gadsden and went to Moxie for years. Mark and Brad always did an AMAZING job and they and the entire staff were so wonderful. I have an even stronger appreciation after living in Cincinnati for 7 years and using MANY stylists….not a single one has been even CLOSE to Moxie standards. I miss these guys. Looks like it’s time for a 7 hr drive to get a good cut and style. See you soon, guys!!
