The trio entree was a fantastic choice, allowing me to sample three distinct flavors for just $15 – the seafood gumbo, jambalaya, and bisque, plus a side of bread (not amazing, but it did the job). The jambalaya was the standout, packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. It’ll be my go-to if I return (which I definitely plan to), or I might try something new. The gumbo was good, but the bisque was a bit watery, the only slight disappointment of the meal. I started with the catfish bites, a happy hour special thanks to it being Monday. The cajun salt they use is a game-changer, elevating the bites from tasty to irresistible. The half-off price was perfect, but I’m not sure I’d splurge on them at the regular $10 price. Throughout my meal, Val, my server, was attentive and friendly, making my solo dining experience a true delight.

We loved this place! Small and quaint but great service, delicious food, and right on Main Street. We got gumbo and fish and shrimp along with fried okra as an appetizer. All of it was great!

Fabulous food, fun atmosphere and excellent service! The drinks were beautiful and delicious! The food was excellent and plated very well too. This is our second time in Greenville to celebrate our anniversary at The Lost Cajun and we hope to be back in three years to celebrate our 31st!

This place has great hush puppies and Cajun gumbo. If that sounds like your style, then drop in!
Me and my wife went here for a date in town and loved it. If you’ve never been there before they give you a sample tray of different gumbos and some Jambalaya to try. The gumbos (especially the lobster one) were excellent, so rich and creamy. We’re kind of used to the instant meal variety of Jambalaya so this was a nice departure from that with lots of flavor.
We ended up getting some hush puppies and fried okra for appetizers. They came out quick, and I am a sucker for hush puppies so those were absolutely fantastic. The fried okra was also good.
Entrees we ordered were blackened fish stir fry and an order of shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits comes with the lobster bisque on top so it is just delightful. The blackened fish stir fry was great too, nice and with a little bit of spice.
Needless to say we cleaned the plates and would recommend!

We decided to try the lost Cajun. We saw good reviews online. They brought out a sample board to try all their gumbo and soups. We ordered the gator bites, lobster bisque soup, and an oyster Po boy. Everything tasted good. The lobster bisque soup was delicious. The gator bites were good, but they were so small. It looked more like small gator strips. For $12.95 I expected a little more. The waiter James was terrible. We were his only table. We waited for drink refills and when we were finished, we waited ten minutes for him to come and bring the check. He asked if we wanted a copy of the receipt and I said yes. He never brought it. As we were leaving the bartender asked if we needed anything. I told him I was waiting on the receipt but nevermind. The bartender ran out and gave us the receipt. Terrible service from the server. Not a good first impression.
