We love TH Nails they are simply the best warm welcome very friendly and professional. Miss Tina is the best and Lisa are my personal techs. But everyone there does a fantastic job. They take there time they don’t rush you and cater you like the queen and boss you are. Highly recommend them been going here almost 6 years. I will never go anywhere else. And they take care of you

I was a walk in and the had someone available. I usually get Ms. Mod, who does a great job! , she was off today. I got Tina today who also did a fabulous job! My nails look and feel great and she was very patient when I was taking a long time to pick out a color. Thank you TH nails!

Started out as 5 stars, but….

Their level of service is evident even upon making reservations. The website is user-friendly, they break down categories of services (lashes. Massages, mani pedi, etc). And what each service entails. You can even select from a long list of staff categorized by male or female and of course by name. It is very clear what they charge for each service which is great since the nail place which I normally go to, while friendly and all, always has different prices seemingly every time!

When you arrive it feels like a mini hotel lobby with a counter to check in, even with where you sign in with your phone number and register for first time with email address. There is a hand sanitizer placed on a narrow pedestal in the middle of the foyer. You are then greeted, asked if you have appointment and then asked to pick your color based on regular or gel polish. Then you’re asked to go to (assigned) chair.

The manicure/pedicure area is spacious and open. There are 3 TV monitors within view regardless of where you are seated. 1980’s 1990’s songs are playing over the PA system.

They offer mimosas for each service, even for basic pedicure. For a time period now until Chinese New Year of the Dragon, they advertised on their Yelp website that you get a red envelope with crisp bills of $1, $5, etc and a lucky coin which gives you special discount – let’s see if they will remember to give me what is advertised! They did NOT – not 5 stars

Now I have been seated and the service was okay, I was bothered a bit by the constant coughing that my technician (don’t want to reveal name here) had, she didn’t pause to sip water or take cough drop, just didn’t feel sanitary that I was in such close proximity. For that, it’s definitely NOT 5 stars.

Then towards the end, I was charged $38 when after all the praise I had about great detailed info about services and price, I got the spa pedicure listed as $33 so not sure where the $38 came from. Definitely NOT 5 stars.

I enjoyed my time here at this nail shop. I called in last minute for a pedicure and they immediately worked me in! The guy at the front desk is amazingly hilarious and very nice! He made me feel comfortable and welcomed with his warm personality and jokes! I can’t remember the name of the lady that serviced me but she was very sweet! I was sat down immediately and was given a mimosa!! I loved it! The massage chairs will have you ready to go to sleep! It felt amazing. She overall did a good job, although it felt just a little rushed. Nonetheless, I had a great experience! P.S. they have a cute little section for kids to have a pedicure and manicure!!

Want to spend way more than the website prices for them to give you an infection? You’ve come to the right place.

I am furious, disgusted, and reporting them to the DPOR, Better Business Bureau, and cosmetology licensing board.

I’m not giving a bad review because the nails were bad (even though they ARE bad) or because she was rude (even though she WAS rude) or because the prices were misleading (even though they DID lie). I’m giving a bad review because, as a former nail tech myself, I was APPALLED by their shameless lack of sanitation that I suspect, based on what I saw on my way out, applies to all of the techs.

My nail tech, Lily, kept her bits in an old coughdrop tin. Weird, but whatever. When she pulled out the DISPOSABLE bit to start filing my nails, it already had dust on it from someone else’s. I noticed but because it was just for the nail plate, I gave her the benefit of doubt. Maybe she forgot, just this once. Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe there was just dust left over in the tin. But then she used it on my cuticle area. After the dip, she pulled a reusable metal bit out of the SAME tin, put the one she had just used on me BACK in the tin, and the metal bit – which she started using on my nails before I even had a chance to speak – also had residue from someone else’s nails on it. Disgusting. Also illegal. This is how people get infections. I’m immunocompromised (one of the reasons I stopped doing nails) – if I get an infection from these, it could take MONTHS to heal. It’s making me nauseous just thinking about it. And the absolute worst part was that when my nails were drying, she had the next customer beside me – where she pulled the same unsanitized clippers and the same disposable nail bit she had used on me out and promptly began using them on her. I was so grossed out I couldn’t even finish my drink, but I guess props to them for giving me one??

On my way out, I looked around. Not one tech’s desk had sanitization fluid on it, so I can only assume that not sanitizing tools between clients is the norm. So freaking gross. So dangerous. I met up with my sister, who had gotten a pedicure and told me that they did not use sterile or single-use-packaging tools. On her FEET. DOUBLE GROSS.

She did no nail prep aside from the sloppy filing. She didn’t dehydrate the nail at all and in fact did not even brush off the nail dust before gluing my tips on, so these nails will last less than a week before they fall off. No cuticle work – NONE – except that disposable file in the beginning. The dip system she did was sloppy; my nails are all different lengths (see photos), lumpy (hard to see in photos because of the shine), and have no apex whatsoever, just an uneven lump at the cuticle on some of them (see photos). I had told her in the beginning I didn’t want gel polish on top and she looked at me like I was crazy, snottily told me that it’s JUST dip, barely spoke to me again for the rest of the manicure – and at the end, took out UV lights and gel polish until I stopped her and told her, again, that I don’t want gel; I’m allergic to it (another reason I stopped doing nails).

Imagine my surprise when I got to the front and my $43 nails, per their website, were actually $58. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I paid and left, intending to call and privately complain and let them know that I intended to report them. I did call, explained what had happened, and they didn’t even refund me. He just said, twice, “okay, I’ll let them know”.

No, not okay. I paid an extra fifteen dollars for the worst nails I have ever gotten (45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, but that’s a whole other story) and a probable infection.

To say I am livid would not even begin to summarize this experience. Do not go here, do not go to Lily, do not expect a refund for bad services, just – don’t.
