Got a Haircut w/ Hydrating Treatment from Josh at the Ann Arbor location today. Not only was the treatment relaxing and left my hair feeling great, Josh gave me a great haircut, exactly what I was hoping for. He was very friendly, extremely professional, and made great conversation. This was my first time at Taylor & Colt, but it definitely won’t be my last!

I’m a new client of Jerome, and he’s one of the BEST barbers I’ve had — I NEVER had a bad haircut. He’s very meticulous and ensures perfection. Also, Jerome is VERY TIMELY for those working professionals who needs a haircut over a lunch break. I always support Jerome’s work!

I went in for a trim and I am very happy with the results, Ibrahim did a great job! I highly recommend Ibrahim. He did exactly what I asked for, and was efficient as well. I will definitely be coming back next time I need a trim.

Had a job here. Cannot recommend the staff enough with one exception (my direct boss). Everyone else is definitely worth the service price + tips.

(Context: My former boss fired me for trying to get me to do unpaid full-time social media work for the company and chose to fire me rather than renegotiate my salary. He apparently is telling my other employers I didn’t work here, which is a really mean thing to attempt to get me fired. It’s never worked though, as I always direct them to his personal phone number I still have saved for him and his texts with my hiring paperwork he made me sign THREE times. That’s proof enough 😔 Wish he would stop lying so he doesn’t do this to himself anymore and make himself look bad to other businesses)

I’ve had great cuts and terrible cuts here, way too variable. I had my haircut by Jerome two days ago and he left it way too long on top and faded up the back without asking when I usually get it squared off (that wasn’t really a problem I’m not that picky). I came in two days later to get a little taken off the top and LaVale fixed the top but shaved off the sides and rounded out the whole cut so I now can’t even properly part my hair. I used photos both times so I really don’t know what to do.

Even though the atmosphere is good and the people are pleasant, if you want a consistently good cut you should go somewhere else.
