Was recommended to go here by a coworker and LOVE it. Love the atmosphere, everyone is friendly and welcoming, different from a lot of places I’ve been to. Amazing work done by JP (love giving him creative control, almost like he reads my mind and then some) You can definitely consider me a regular 🙂

I came here Thursday morning. Terrible job. My nails are ruined. I had a beautiful square shape, wanted a change so asked for almond shape. None of my nails match (see photos). Some are too pointy, some are crooked (my whole right hand), and they are all different sizes. I paid $65 for dip and chrome powder, $40 for a pedicure that also looks like I did it myself. Loan hurt one of my toes with a pedicure tool, to where I practically squealed in pain, and left me with a little cut on my left ring finger under my nail. I expressed that I didn’t like they way they looked and this is a lot of money for nails I don’t love, to hear just excuses that this is almond shape and very popular. There isn’t a way to fix them without cutting them completely down, and even still they are filed so poorly that they would just look even worse than they do now. My daughter also had paint on her nails and toes, in just a few hours it started to chip. I won’t be back here. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. This place is clearly just about volume. I’m out $120.

Went to this place thinking I was going to get quality service due to all the great reviews/pictures. Unfortunately that was not the case. I got a full set of the Gel Extensions and honestly the only thing I like about them is the color, which they charged me an extra $15 for. I picked a chrome color, which is a powder that is simply rubbed onto the nail after being colored with regular polish. If I had known they were going to charge me $15 for it, I would have picked something else.
They started out by giving me no cuticle care at all, which I was expecting since I tend to pick at the skin around my fingers. Any other nail salon I’ve gone to has ALWAYS taken care of my cuticles before starting the nail application. She didn’t even touch them.
The T&K website states that all reusable tools, such as metal nail clippers, cuticle pushers, etc., are sterilized before each use. It also states that all disposable products, like files, buffers, and/or drill bit covers, are disposed of after use on each client. This is absolutely NOT the case. While I noticed the salon DOES sterilize all tools that can be, what they do not mention is that these tools are used on MULTIPLE clients before being sterilized again. All metal tools/supplies that can be sterilized should be cleaned and set aside to be sterilized again AFTER ONE USE on a single client. The disposable products that were used on my nails were very clearly used on other clients before me. In fact, the drill bit cover was so dull from being used on clients before me, it was not even filing properly. My tech had to switch it out and put on a new one in the middle of my service. This should have been done the second I sat down in the chair.
After my extensions had been put on, my nail tech grabbed a set of nail extensions clippers to cut down the fake nail. But not before she used them to SCRATCH HER OWN HEAD. I WISH I were lying. She scratched her head with the tip of the tool, and then proceeded to cut my nails with them. I was disgusted.
I wish I could say it ended there. My tech also did not file the underside of my nails after applying the extensions. Some people may say that this isn’t standard, but when getting extensions or acrylic, filing the underside of just as important as filing the top. I’m left with glue and nail residue stuck under my fingers that I now have to pick off, possibly ruining the nail itself.
I only got one coat of polish, which should have been enough for black, but you can see through some of my nails now.
The salon itself looks nice at first glance, but as soon as you start to look at the details, the place is a mess. Crowded work stations, re-used supplies that are clearly very dirty, and overall my nail tech did NOT seem to care about how my nails came out. She honestly looked like she just wanted to get it over with. And reading other reviews about the inconsistency of the their nail techs ability to do their job, is honestly concerning. I absolutely understand have certain strengths and weaknesses when it comes to doing a service. Which is why I believe that the nail salon should be very clearly transparent about the strengths and weaknesses of all their nail techs.
This work is absolutely NOT worth the $90 + $10 tip that I was so generous to give. PLEASE save your money and go somewhere else.

Just love T&K Nails Design. Every technician is professional, friendly, and experienced., and the salon is clean with a nice decor. The staff is accommodating, and the hours of operation are plentiful. I have been going to T&K for years, and especially ask for “JP”, but everyone is good.
