Sport Clips Haircuts of Pocatello

I have been taking my son to sports clips since he started getting haircuts 6+years. Adrian and Lataya have always been our go tos at this location. Adrian has always been very welcoming and my son enjoys talking to him. To the point where my son will randomly say that he’s his friend and like that he calls him “brother”
.Unfortunately over the past year the customer service has greatly declined. They girls don’t smile and look upset to even be there. Which I can understand if it’s been a long day but come on! NO ONE is welcoming.why do you look so annoyed to see people walk in the door and refuse to acknowledge them when they walk in? No wonder my 8yo only wants to see Adrian. We continue to come because my son’s hair always looks good after his cut but today the not so happy looking woman who cut his hair wasn’t able to do a lightning bolt line so she said she can have another hair dresser do it. Well I finally look up from taking care of my 8mo baby and see my son has an entire lightning bolt outline shaved onto the back side of his head! Trying to avoid upsetting my son I told the lady we usually just put a line and she stated well we drew him a picture and thats what he picked. I was maybe 10feet away in the waiting room. Why couldn’t you ask the mother instead of leaving the decision up to an 8yo child. Who of course is going to pick the DRAWING that looks the coolest! It is hair, and it will grow back but I am shocked that they could handle situations like this instead of being a grown up at least FAKING a smile and talking to the parent. We won’t be returning unless it’s just to see Adrian. This establishment needs to take a course on customer service and get it together. As someone who has worked in the customer service field her entire life this is not how it’s done. Very disappointed.

I am updating a previous review. Left my jacket here and called. They said they would hold on to it. I waited too long to go (probably about 2-3 weeks). I was told the manager probably donated it. I know I waited too long to go back and it’s not their responsibility but still disappointed and this location has lost my business nonetheless.

All the girls here are great. Forgot who my son saw. But I’ll definitely take him back here. Super quick and convenient. They got him right in. No waiting. Usually I’d make an appointment but they were able to get him right in. My son’s hair came out great. Just a fade but it was a good one.

Last night I had one of the best haircut experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had some pretty high-end cuts. Adrian was awesome, and really took the time and showcased their expertise during the cut and made some AWESOME suggestions that I had never been given before, and it made the haircut turn out better than ever. They really paid attention to detail, and were really fun to talk to. Their energy was unmatched and set the vibe for the whole interaction.

During all of this, the rest of the staff was dealing with one of the rudest ladies I’ve seen. This lady brought her son (think 6-8yr/old) for a cut, and was being EXTREMELY rude to the staff, and was being very confusing in what she was asking for. At the end she was arguing with the stylists on what blending means (as if she went to school to be a barber). In the end she stormed out with her son in tow. The staff were doing the best they could to be accommodating and nice to her, but she was just hellbent on being difficult. Props to the staff on the way they handled this difficult customer.

I’m excited for my hair to grow to I can come back soon!

My nephew just moved to town and with a new school he wanted a new haircut & was in desperate need of one as well! Adrian was his barber and he was super cool and kept trying to conversate with my nephew to make him feel a little more comfortable. We’ve been to other places who didn’t know what to do with his double cowlick situation he had going on with his hair so they would cut it too high. I explained this to Adrian and told him we wanted a fade on the side, we referenced a picture, and wanted something low maintenance when it came to styling it. My nephew was shy during the haircut but said that he wanted to see Adrian going forward for his haircuts. The customer service was great, he really listened and delivered! & my nephew couldn’t stop smiling afterward! Thank you Adrian for making this little kiddos move a little easier! Amazing what confidence you get with great haircuts!
