My mom made an appointment for us today for deep tissue massages for her and I, with a pedicure and manicure before my wedding this next weekend. The manicure and pedicures were both great! However, our massages were anything but decent. First, the “deep tissue” was not deep tissue at all. I asked my girl to go hard on my shoulders, but nothing changed (I think she was giving me all she could though). There was a language barrier (which I completely understand) but it makes it really hard to communicate anything during the massage. The deep tissue was honestly a “soft” massage at best, there was no technique. It felt like my back just got rubbed and squeezed the same way over and over again. Didn’t massage out any knots, instead just grazed over them. My masseur was super friendly and nice, but it honestly seemed like she had never done a massage before. There was this weird hot towel thing they did after massaging each body part. The towel went from hot to cold really quick, it was rough and made the massage unenjoyable. It took up way too much time for her to put it in the warmer everytime and wait. It felt like she was bathing me honestly (it really should be an optional thing). I could hear all conversation by the front desk (there was no peace and quiet in the room). My mom also had the same bad experience. The unfortunate thing is my mom planned this day so we could do everything together, our massages started at the same time so they should’ve ended together. I guess mine took longer (which who can complain about a massage taking longer) but it made it so I didn’t get to be with my mom during the manicure or pedicure. The staff themselves were great personality wise and the girl and the front desk definitely helped us and was very nice about the situation. But as a business and salon owner myself their biggest issue is lack of communication and training. There doesn’t seem to be a great system to this place. If all the staff was on the same page about what to do and how to do it, the business would thrive. But sadly it seems so disorganized, maybe they should not offer so many services when some are severely lacking. Or at least be honest about the type of services that can be provided. I believe my masseur wanted to give me a good experience, but she had no idea how. I left more stressed then when I came in

Seats are a little uncomfortable and for a very tall guy a bit awkward, but with that being said most 6’1 men aren’t getting their feet done. Prices were just right and the staff was friendly, efficient and great at what they do. Highly recommend!

I love this place!!! The atmosphere is very clean, and very “spa” like. They do a great job on my nails and the workers are super nice. I actually love the movies they play there too when I’m getting my nails done. The best part is that my nails last a long time (for me that is). They also changed to disposable nail files and scrubbers which is great and I keep my toe separators and bring them back myself when I get a pedi.
My other favorite part is soaking your nails in either lemon water or green tea. It’s a great place and you should definitely consider it!

DO NOT go to this nail salon. I have never had such a horrible and painful nail experience in my life. I’ve always had long, strong, healthy nails, but after getting a no-chip where the technician accidentally used the wrong products, my nails have still not recovered 1 month later. They tried soaking my nails for 40 minutes in acetone which further worsened the problem. After this happened, they STILL charged me for ruining my nails. One month later and my nails still have not recovered, and the no-chip will still not come off. My only option is now to completely grow out my nails and hope they grow stronger. So disappointed and disgusted by the service here. I hope this review can save someone from the experience I went through.

I will no longer be recommending this spa to anyone I know. When this place opened up a few years ago, I completely sang their praises for being a reasonably-priced spot in the area to get some pampering. Their manicures and pedicures didn’t always last as long as I believe they should have for professional application, but the service was always good and the price was right for the relaxing experience. My opinion in light of recent events has completely changed. The wax esthetician burnt my mom’s eyelid on a recent visit and didn’t even say anything to her. My mom came home to find a burn line across her entire eyelid, and then when my mom went back to speak to the owner, all the owner could say was “sorry.” She didn’t offer my mom her money back or at the very least a certificate for a complimentary future waxing. She didn’t say anything to the esthetician either. It seems that this lady doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. A few years ago when the place first opened, I told all my friends about it and how wonderful it is. I am now going to tell everyone I know to NEVER GO HERE!!! Take your business somewhere else where they know how to treat their customers well. I am very disappointed in Spa O.
