I love going to this nail salon. They are my go to monthly. I get dip powder and they last about 4 weeks give or take. They always do a great job, and the people are so nice could not recommend enough the prices and the service is great. Highly recommend. I only wish they had more colors for dip powder but they do chrome which is nice! Also, they are the only ones who give an option to not use the acrylic drill to remove nail polish and I haven’t been able to find another place in the city that does that!

I was so happy that I found this spot because they did a wonderful and thorough job…initially. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. On day two, my nails started chipping. I had a very busy week so I didn’t stop by early to get them fixed. By the time I was able to get them fixed it was day seven and almost every nail had an issue. I called to get my nails fixed and they took me the same day which I was very happy about. I got to the nail salon and was greeted by an angry customer demanding that I put a mask on, meanwhile, I was there last week without a mask and it wasn’t an issue. I waited 15 minutes to get my nails “fixed” and they look atrocious. About three of them look like they will be completely off by tomorrow since the layer of gel is literally peeling off and they just painted over it. Horrible service second time around and I will no longer return. Good luck getting your nails done here.

RACIST ESTABLISHMENT!!!! We lived in this neighborhood for years and this establishment has been around for a long time. The normal nail salon we go to couldn’t take my dad so he decided to go down the street to Sona Nails. They saw him, a black man with a hoodie on, and REFUSED to open the door. They kept shaking their head no indicating that they will not buzz him in to the establishment. He called me and told me what happened and I went over to see if they would open the door for me, and they did with NO HESITATION. Coincidence that they will gladly open the door for a fair skinned woman but not a black man? I think not. I know racism when I see it. When I asked them why they refused to open the door for my dad they had no answer. They looked at me dumbfounded. We gladly walked away. Will not be giving this racists establishment my money and neither should you!

Just went for the first time and had a great experience at sona nails. They had a special discount for Mon-Wed and I made an appointment ahead of time. The technician was meticulous, professional and gentle. They charged another $5 for gel removal, which was very reasonable too. Will be coming back!

Their gel manicure was very unevenly applied, and the color was too thin, falling short of expectations. It also looked quite different from what I saw on the color palette. The person who did it for me was a very slim woman with black hair.
