Great experience! Everything is brand new and the staff is great. Everything is clean and tidy which is important in a salon. They have so many colors to choose from and are skilled in their application. They offer soda or wine which is a nice touch as you relax. The chairs are so comfortable which you are getting your service done. I highly recommend checking this salon out! Under new management as well!

Updating to include my most recent experience with Molly! She did gel x and they look amazing. She is meticulous and ensured everything was perfect before I left her chair. She specializes in sealing and shaping! Go see her!

Solar Nails Spa provides an excellent service from beginning to end. I was able to walk in around 2 pm on a Tuesday afternoon but you can schedule ahead online. Staff greets you immediately and are very friendly. Julie did my dipping ombré nails while another woman did my jelly pedicure and polish (I forgot her name but she might be a manager, she was super helpful explaining options for nails) they both worked on me at the same time. The chair was very comfortable and relaxing. I often avoid doing my nails due to the smell but this salon had no bad/strong odors. They have many services available and give you a coupon for returning customers. They did say they remodeled somewhat recently and the outcome is gorgeous. It’s a very simple, modern, relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning.

DO NOT GET GEL X HERE!
They said they could do gel x, when in all actuality they couldn’t. I should have realized it when they…nail tech, manager, owner…kept trying to get me to change to other nail services. Even to the point of the nail tech telling me to touch her plain, dull nails to try to get me to get what she had. I came in May 10th with my first gel x, that I had gotten in Durham on March 27th at the Nail Stop, as a trial. The nails and polish looked like the day Dustin did them, but they had grown out. The nailtech began to use a nail tip to lift and peel the gel x nails off my nail, which is damaging. I said, “Aren’t you supposed to soak them off?” She then got the acetone and started soaking the gel x off. Once everything was off, I was feeling reluctant, but I drank a wine and relaxed. Lienn was very nice. I noticed that things weren’t looking as nice as my first experience, but I was giving this place a chance. The glue is clumped under the nails. The gel x nails aren’t flush to my nails, so food, sauce, anything gets in there. It hasn’t been a week and several are lifting. They are so thick they look like old school acrylic from the 90’s. My first experience was great and lasted so long, so I decided to do it again. This 2nd experience is/was horrible. I’d rather have the integrity of them expressing that gel x is not their expertise instead of taking my money, wasting my time and giving me shoddy nails. The pictures tell the story…🤦‍♀️

Hannah was absolutely amazing and super sweet! My nails look wonderful and the salon was so pretty. It was an over all great experience, the environment was clean and the staff were all friendly! Definitely recommend coming here😊

After my nail surgery, my manicure was never the same. No nail technician couldn’t make the nail look natural or the nail tip couldn’t last. I came to the salon by chance. I explained the issue to Chloe. I sat here expecting the same results. I was wrong! My nail look so natural. She used another technique. I am so happy with the results. Chloe, you are the best!!!! I don’t have before photos but my right hand middle finger nail grows narrow and side ways. You get the idea.
