Ashley at Block of Sunshine is an incredibly talented colorist and stylist! I followed her to Sola Salon Studios from downtown salon and she’s been cutting my hair now for 10 plus years! Always a professional with a positive attitude. Her prices are reasonable and I won’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend foe all hair and makeup services!!!!

Amy D. Has given me the best haircut I have had in ten years!! I have been told I look like Jamie Lee Curtis – and at 73, that’s great! She is always pleasant and enjoyable to be around! And she cuts four other family members’ hair, ages 13-43, boys and girls and we love the way she cuts our hair!!!

Steer clear of Amy, 25..high prices & not creative precision or personable stylist
Nothing very hard about my hair I’m 66 just want a regular wedge older lady haircut. If I get a good cut it will fall into place, no fuss.
When they pull out a razor I should know to STOP them, lesson learned

I would have been a new client at this salon. I booked a haircut online several weeks ago, got confirmation via email. Unfortunately, the stylist I booked did not show for our appt, and her booth was dark. I couldn’t find a phone number to reach the stylist and there’s nobody else to check in with in regards to issues because each person runs an individual booth. I hope that the stylist is okay as I still have not heard from them. I’m sure they do good business here, but I had a horrible experience today and it was a total bummer. 🙁
