Ok…to start off with, I admit that I and my hair present a challenge. I KNOW what I want and bring pictures with me. This was my first time having Bruce style my hair, therefore, he was unfamiliar with its many nuances.

Because of the quarantine, my hair, in a year, went from very short to shoulder length. I wanted SHORT and ALL blonde…no more tri color or highlighting. I walked in with darker roots, salt and pepper, white in several places and remnants of blonde highlights on the ends…a real challenge to get all one color.

Bruce took and MET the challenge. We were both a little hesitant on the shade of blonde because he did not know how long my hair takes to process…he was using 2 tricky techniques. The cut was PERFECT and the color was near perfect. We agreed that next time we CAN go lighter but all loves my color now…even my daughter, my toughest color critic.

I got so many compliments from the other customers, one even wanted to copy my hair! I was walking on air when I left with the biggest smile on my face. I had just unloaded 5″ of multi colored hair. I no longer hide behind my mask because of my HAIR!! My friend told me, over the phone, that she could HEAR the HAPPINESS in my voice.

Bruce looked and LISTENED to my wants and concerns and tried very hard to give me everything I asked for. He DID!

Prior to the service, I “educated” him on my hair problems and showed photos of previous hair styles I wore and of those on others. One mistake people make, they don’t speak up. Your stylist is not a mind reader…TELL them the results you expect BEFORE the process, not after…too late. This is how you develop TRUST, something you won’t have on the first visit if you don’t take the initiative. When I left my appt., I felt like buying a new outfit and GOING DANCING

My Magician! Bruce always makes me look like a new person. Outstanding service, nice atmosphere. Have been a client for two years. Will not go anywhere else.

I had the worst treatment with my hair. I spent 8 hours in the chair and came out with fried hair! He charged me $210 with my hair completely messed up. I asked for no blonde and red and that exactly what I got. Wasn’t even blonde it was like kraft cheese! The night before he dyed my hair and it was so bad… so he said to come back the next day at 6 am and he would fix it. I agreed, cake back and hours later left with wet hair and in tears!! Had to go get it fixed again the next day before a photoshoot. I then texted him and ask him for some kind of refund, he didn’t even really apologize for my hair. So, was Still charged for the whole price of $210. I didn’t think it was fair, and if I was the owner of the salon( like he is) I would’ve refunded or not charged in the first place. I would want my customers happy! I could’ve been fired from my job (modeling) and I would’ve lost more money due to my hair!! So let down/angry about Bruce I will try and put pics up of what he did to my hair! I waited to write these reviews thinking I’d get an apology or refund! Nothing. So- I write reviews.

I love to go here to get my hair done. Not only is my hair done beautifully but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I look forward to being there.
