This message is for women who have had a vision for their hair that has turned into a far fetched dream. If you have completely given up on your hair because every stylist you’ve gone to has butchered your hair and then charged you upwards of $200, take one last chance on Slate Salon. I am happy I did. I had virgin hair with a botched cut and no idea how to style it. I would wear it in a clip everyday, because that is the only way I knew how to manage it. Laura at Slate happily took me in and gave me the haircut that I had wanted for years, which completely exceeded expectations. She gave me my first balayage, I had trusted no one to do in the past, and she spent extra time teaching me how to use hot tools so I can have that fresh out of the salon look everyday. I know our hair isn’t everything but, the confidence boost I have had since my visit is indescribable. I have had SO many compliments on my hair since and I am so excited to send them Laura’s way. Ladies, don’t give up! Our dream hair is achievable and it’s worth every dime. Laura, thank you for not only making all my hair dreams come true but giving me the skills to style at home for everyday confidence!

Just saw Julie for the first time and I am so very impressed! My hair is nothing special….straight and fine. I had some pictures and gave her an idea of what I was hoping for. It was my first time here and it was amazing! Adrienne did an incredible job with my hair. I came in with no exact idea of what I wanted other than a cut and a balayage, she recommended colors and a cut that would best fit my features and she killed it!

I went to Slate to get my curly hair trimmed. I asked for 4 inch to be cut off and the stylist cut off 8 inch. It looked great, but it just upset me that it was double what I asked for!
