This place is amazing! Cut my sons hair exactly as I asked and were super patient and quick. They even offer a “first haircut” special where they cut a lock of hair and print before and after pictures for you! Will be coming back!

My husband and I went here for my 1 year old’s first haircut. It was okay, the different vehicle chairs were fun and the stylist was very patient and gentle. I later noticed the hair at the nape of their neck was a tiny bit crooked but cutting a baby’s hair is tricky and I don’t blame them, it’s barely noticeable. They also cut my husband’s hair and left a ton of long hairs his neck I had to shave later. I’m disappointed in the pay model which charges extra for moms which is why I didn’t get my haircut, this also just generally made me feel uncomfortable as a nonbinary person that prefers masculine haircuts, this is of course corporates fault and not necessarily this particular chain.

When we first walked in, they gave us a friendly greeting and checked us in. There is a little toy store so we could entertain my nephew while we waited, which was useful! The sweet lady that gave him his FIRST haircut was fast and knew all the tricks to get him to sit still! Overall, we had a great time! I definitely recommend Shear Madness!

We usually go in with pictures of the style of cut that we want and they rock it.

My only complaint is the over priced toys up front. I get it, they’re making money, but you have to go through a room full of toys to get your haircut.

Definitely a good experience and a great staff though.
