Wendy, Melissa, Christiann, Stacey, and Deanna and everyone at the salon have been amazing with my hair and our girls’ different requests. Shear Angels is super accommodating with my busy schedule, and when I bring our girls in, they’re nothing short of amazing through all of the chaos.
I had my first facial today with Deanna and I’m already scheduled for another! I’ve never had one because my skin is super-sensitive, but Deanna answered all of my questions and explained each step. Their Sensitive Skin products are gentle and smell wonderfully!

We just moved to Hollidaysburg and tried multiple hair salons and barbers looking for someone who my son and I both liked. Our son got his going back to school haircut by Carol Black at Shear Angels. We showed her a reference picture and she did a PHENOMENAL job! It is safe to say we have found our new hairdresser!

I love Wendy! Prices are very reasonable and great quality! Never had a bad hair experience! I also got my eyebrows done here by someone else and she did a bad job but just get your hair done there and you will be pleased!

I have been going to Shear Angels the past 6 years since I have moved here to Altoona, PA. I’ve always loved the atmosphere and all of the stylists. They’re all very sweet and will talk to you about anything. I have never ONCE left disappointed. Amazing products and have always wanted to help heal my hair from my past years of damage, and they have done just that.
This is what a REAL review is like, by someone who lives in the area. Not people from CA who have never stepped foot in the shop before and only left a bad review based on an attention seeking tiktok.
