Customer Reviews:
I informed the nail tech who helped me (40’s female, with glasses) of the nail shape I wanted—showed her pictures on three different occasions, and she still did not understand what I wanted. On the third occasion I asked her to “fix” the shape of my nails, she began talking loudly to her coworker (presumably about me) in a language I did not understand.
Then, once she began painting my nails, I noticed several of the edges were rough and pointy. I waited for her to offer to fix them—she did not. I proceeded to ask her if she could file the nails that she had left rough, and she again seemed bothered by my request. Seriously? I thought that was an obvious but reasonable request, being that I was paying close to $40 for a basic gel manicure. I declined the massage (my favorite part of getting a manicure) because I could not wait to get out of there!
I’ve been to this nail shop in the past and received stellar service by another tech, so I am hesitant to say I will not return. Maybe this tech was having an off day? Maybe she was new? I’ll give the business the benefit of the doubt, but I’ll definitely ask for someone else if I return.
Update :
I had French tips done with no Scaffold (nails) and had to get two replaced in a 1-2 week period….it was annoying to have to come back within a short period of time.
Charlie was the one who fixed them and they are holding up.
