I absolutely love this place. I’ve known Vanessa the owner since 2004, she is the sweetest most kindest lady you’ll ever meet. It’s rare to find a shop with multiple people who are very good as I’m picky but Sassy checks that box. Charlie, Kim, Jennifer, Mae all wonderful. They care about your experience and are very personable, you won’t find this kind of service in many nail salons.

Was a very nice place. Friendly people. Imade an appointment the day before but when I got there it seemed rushed, the guy was in a real hurry to finish and seemed slightly irritated. But he did good work. I definitely will consider going back. I noticed the two women getting pedicures were being treated very patiently and thoroughly. I did have a terrible gel set that he had to work with and fixed amazing.

I don’t like writing bad reviews, especially for a place that has had excellent service in the past. However, my experience today was frustrating, to say the least.

I informed the nail tech who helped me (40’s female, with glasses) of the nail shape I wanted—showed her pictures on three different occasions, and she still did not understand what I wanted. On the third occasion I asked her to “fix” the shape of my nails, she began talking loudly to her coworker (presumably about me) in a language I did not understand.

Then, once she began painting my nails, I noticed several of the edges were rough and pointy. I waited for her to offer to fix them—she did not. I proceeded to ask her if she could file the nails that she had left rough, and she again seemed bothered by my request. Seriously? I thought that was an obvious but reasonable request, being that I was paying close to $40 for a basic gel manicure. I declined the massage (my favorite part of getting a manicure) because I could not wait to get out of there!

I’ve been to this nail shop in the past and received stellar service by another tech, so I am hesitant to say I will not return. Maybe this tech was having an off day? Maybe she was new? I’ll give the business the benefit of the doubt, but I’ll definitely ask for someone else if I return.

Received Acrylic dip powder my tech was Tina. She gave me a natural look, I like the technique she used it’s very flat and not bumpy.

Update :

I had French tips done with no Scaffold (nails) and had to get two replaced in a 1-2 week period….it was annoying to have to come back within a short period of time.
Charlie was the one who fixed them and they are holding up.

I really wanted to love this place but it was the worst manicure I’ve ever received. The paint job was sloppy and uneven, they rushed me, and after showing the manager, pedicure lady, and manicure lady what I wanted (simple hearts on my nails) they all said it was doable. When the manicurist started doing them, the polish was too dry and I had to ask her 3 times to get a different one. She honestly should have known instead of rushing me. Everyone was rushing me. Then when she drew the hearts, I asked her to redo it because they honestly looked SO awful. Her coworker came over and redid them and they looked better, but they rushed me out because they were closing early (not my fault, I called ahead and asked, and they said they wanted to take me). Everything looked SO awful and smeared. I left a great tip because it was lunar new year, but worst paint job ever. Do not go there, and I will not be returning.
