I couldn’t believe that the team working on my hair let me leave with it looking like this…twice. I went in to get my money piece quickly touched up with a hair cut. At the end of my service, foils, cut, wash, blow dry, I noticed at the very front of my head/ money piece that there was approx 1/2 an inch of hair (at the root) that wasn’t even touched with lightener. Worst part is after having to acknowledge the uneven color myself, I was made to feel very awkward after needing to be re-foiled, toned, etc. After the first correction (same day) the blonde was so uneven. I went back a second time for a second “correction” and still left with uneven blonde. My experience was horrible. The pictures show how I left the salon BOTH times & you can even see the bleach left on my scalp. I went in for what I thought would be a quick appointment and was so so wrong.

Ivan was absolutely amazing. He has the eye for exactly what you want and is so caring and takes his time and even gave me some nice little massages! He kept asking if I was okay or if I needed anything and made sure if I needed more water or snacks! My hair turned out absolutely beautiful and I felt like I was at a spa the whole time. Definitely did take a while for whole process but it was so worth it with him! Definitely going to see him again. Thank you Ivan for all of your hard work!

My hair came out NOTHING of what I wanted. Do not go here. I came here knowing I could not bleach my own hair so I went to who I thought was a professional. She was not a professional, but a rookie. I told her , salonist, that there was box dye of 4 months. I was sincere with her. She saw me as a fool she could play with. I hate my hair. How do I trust you guys not to ruin my hair further!? My hair was beautiful before she touched it.

This was my first time at Salon One 12, and I was so impressed with their service! When I walked in, they greeted me warmly while offering a complimentary beverage. I saw Cecilia for a Wigs for Kids donation haircut and she was so friendly and easy-going. I have donated my hair at another salon in Austin before, but this process was much more organized from beginning to end. Once I grow out my hair some more, I’ll be sure to come back for a follow-up appointment!
