Unfortunately I had a really poor experience here. Jessica H performed a cut and color (highlights) on my hair. What usually takes 2-2.5 hours to foil was completed in one hour with Jessica. I had texted Jessica prior to the appointment letting her know a full
color and cut usually takes 3.5 hours for my hair. To give a frame of reference, I was in and out in two hours. Bleach was applied in a sloppy manner. There are many leopard like spots in my hair. No attempt was made to apply bleach in pieces of hair already highlighted in order to preserve my natural lowlights. I had verbalized this request prior to the start of my appointment. This left a line down my hair where my previous outgrowth was. To top it all off, the foils on the top off my were lifted too soon, leaving orange streaks in my hair. I attempted to return to at least fix my money piece which were the orangest strands. The second visit did not help. There was no improvement at all. Jessica was friendly. But when spending $170 + tip on your hair, you expect more than just a friendly stylist. I received no apology for the poor work done on my hair. I ended up having to visit someone else to get my hair fixed and spent another $75. I asked the stylist who fixed my hair to rate it 1-10 on how bad it was with 10 being the worst. She gave it a 7/8. Fortunately my hair wasn’t damaged or fried which is what would’ve earned a 10. It is going to take two more color cycles to get everything all fixed. I will also have to have lowlights put in with dye since my natural lowlights were ruined with careless and sloppy work. This will take years to grow out and fix on it own, unless I cut substantial length off my hair. I’m so incredibly disappointed with my experience at Salon Lofts. I don’t typically post bad reviews. I just cut my losses and move on. However, with how awful this service was, I couldn’t move on without warning others. You can’t make someone care about the job they are doing. Be cautious in booking an appointment with Jessica H.

I cane in today with a platinum blonde balayage that I’ve had for the last couple of years, looking for a change. I’m still pretty new to the area, so I was trying out a new stylist and I just wish I hadn’t. Allison was nice enough during the service and seemed to know what I was asking for when I showed her my reference pictures. The cut turned out fine, but the color….it’s truly awful and not even close to what I asked for. I told her as much and she offered to put more highlights in it aka bleach after I had told her I specifically didn’t want bleach on my hair this time as I was PLATINUM when I came in. I asked for a refund and she said she’d give me $20 back for my $140 service. Awful customer service and now I have to book another appointment to attempt to fix this before I have to go back to work. I’m attaching pictures of what I had, what I asked for and what I got for reference. My ask wasn’t ridiculous or unachievable by any stretch. I’m really disappointed and sad that my day was ruined and even more upset that I won’t have the opportunity or time to get it fixed before my wedding.

I have found myself an amazing hairstylist, Megan Hunter!!! I didn’t know what style I wanted and she picked an awesome look for me. She takes her time and listens to you. Megan is a warm, friendly, personable, caring young lady. I highly recommend making an appointment and seeing for yourself. Thank you Megan, I Love my new look!!!!
