Salon 2000

I went about a year and a half ago after going for about a year to get my hair changed up from my regular copper that was very faded. I was looking for a pastel peach color. I wasn’t able to make my original appointment and did cancel and the owner Karen was able to fit me in during the week. I’m not sure if she’s not able to juggle clients but after the fact she said she put a 40 vol. lightener on my hair and sat me under the heat for at least an hour (which was unnecessary because my hair lifts very well with a 20vol. both at home and in other salons) My scalp was burned and my hair was breaking off in clumps. Because she was busy she had her daughter apply my color. My hair was so damaged only the roots took the color and left the roots hot pink with yellow ends. She sent me out with sopping wet hair and I was crying. When my hair dried it was still coming out in clumps and I texted Karen to ask for a refund. She proceeded to call my mom to ask what she thought which was irrelevant as my mother doesn’t pay for my hair. I went back in to try and get it corrected but my scalp was burned so I could barely stand the brown color she was putting over my hair and it turned a weird greenish brown. I left crying once again and was basically gaslit by being told that I wouldn’t have been happy with anything she could’ve done because I was just so emotional. Like my hair wasn’t fried. She tried to say it must’ve been that I had had covid (I definitely didn’t) or she didn’t know how it went wrong. So a year and a half later here I am having spent a couple thousand to protect,heal, cut, and get my hair back to healthy.

Teresa was amazing!!! She was so sweet & polite and understanding of my needs/wants.. She did my hair and eye brows and let me tell you I love her already!!! I definitely recommend this amazing salon… ❤️❤️

What an amazing experience! I will forever only be going to Salon 2000 to get my hair cut and colored. Karen did an absolute great job. She is very kind and cares about her clients. Not only did I feel like I knew Karen for a long time by the time I left but I witnessed her kindness with the other clients during my visit. She has amazing rates and I could not recommend her business enough. If you are looking for a new stylist or just a new look call Karen. 10/10 will be back.
