I have been going to this nail shop for about 6 or 7 years now. When I first went, a man did my nails and after one of my visits, I was not happy with the results. I called the store and told them that I came in and didn’t like that my nails appeared bumpy and kind of sloppy. The manager told me to come in and she’d fix them. So I did and I’ve been going to see Tammy ever since.
I never break my nails, probably just once or twice over the last few years. However this weekend, I broke 3! Not because the nails were poor quality or done badly but because of my own doing. One was broken so badly after playing volleyball that it split right through the middle of my finger and bled. I let it heal for 2 days, but figured it’d need to grow out before Tammy would be able to do anything with it. I was wrong. Tammy was so gentle with my 3 deep breaks. I felt no pain and walked out with all three fixed. I feel like a new woman!
I see the other comments made about Tammy as the manager and other employees in her shop being rude or rushing. I have just never seen it while I was there! Everyone I’ve seen have been professional. Tammy does rush sometimes because she gets a lot of customers and she’s trying to get everyone seen. I love going to a shop where someone is trying to get me in and out in a timely fashion but with quality work. Even when Tammy is rushing, I’ve never had a problem with the job she’s done. Still come out with beautiful results.
I went to my hometown in Michigan for spring break once and got my nails done and OMG! Never again. I came back and went straight to Ruby Nails to fix the hot mess that was put on my fingers up north!
Always a pleasant experience for me!
(The pictures show how deep my breaks were and how well she fixed them with no pain or issues)

I personally had my nails done about 6 years ago for a homegoing celebration. I needed a peaceful surrounding, and I found this business to give me that environment (no loud music, nobody trying to sell me pocketbooks or cake, lol). I appreciated the professionalism and I find their prices to better than other nail places.

I recently returned and have been pleased with the service here at Ruby Nails this past month. The nail technician and the owern took care of my client who needed services done and they did an excellent job with her pedicure. The manicure she had done last week, looked brand new 7 days later. I would recommend Ruby Nails.

Approximately two months ago I went to get acrylic nails. The older gentleman that did my nails was not as skilled as the nail techs from my previous visits. When he finished, my nails were thick and too wide, after I continually told him not to make my nails thick.
Because I wasn’t satisfied, I went to another recommended nail shop for a fill-in. I was very pleased that the nail tech reshaped them nicely.

After it was time for another re-fill, I came back to Ruby Nails. I was going to get a fill-in, but I got another older gentleman, and suddenly I said, ” I want to remove my nails”. The gentleman proceeded to remove my nails, I WILL NEVER LET HIM ON MY HANDS AGAIN!! He did not allow my nails to soak enough for removal, then he filed the acrylic off and FILED TOO MUCH OF MY NAILS UNTIL THEY WERE THIN. My nails are still trying to recover. They are thin, so thin. If I could give them a rating, it would be a -100. Never in all my visits to a nail spa have my nails been so damaged. SO DISAPPOINTING that it’s apparently about the money, not the service. I will NEVER let those two gentlemen on my hands again, even if I visit Ruby Nails again. NEVER!!!

I may not know your name, but I won’t your face, My nails still haven’t recovered from the trauma.

I wish I would have read the reviews about this place before going here. I got a gel manicure and paid about $48 for the nail polish to start coming off on day 3! I felt like the younger guy that helped me didn’t really know what he was doing. I should have walked out when he was wiping his runny nose on his hands and using no gloves, but I didn’t want to make a big deal and figured I would wash my hands. He seemed like he didn’t want to do it in the first place and it wasn’t a clean cut job, my coworker made a comment that it looked like they didn’t even do my cuticles. He cut me on the first nail and I don’t know if that’s why he didn’t try to do the rest. I’m on a week today since going in and my nails looked like they never got done. I definitely feel ripped off…
