The staff members who greeted me upon entering were kind and courteous. They offered me refreshments which I’ve never experienced before. I specifically asked for Jenny because she was highly recommended based on reviews and word of mouth on social media. I was NOT disappointed. Jenny was a total professional yet laid back and fun. She assured me she would be able to take care of my needs in the future. I liked her a lot. The atmosphere was luxurious! I’ll definitely recommended this place and her to my friends!

I usually do my own pedicures at home and do a decent job. I haven’t gone to a nail salon in 5 years or so and decided to treat myself to having someone else do them for me. I have never been to Royal Nails before and thought I would give them a try and when I got there the person at the front seemed very nice but then lead me to their new expansion downstairs and into a totally different space than I thought I was going to be getting my nails done. He said just go down and someone will help you. I went down and instead of a “receptionist desk” being right there, there was a nail techs station right there and I was completely confused on who to even speak to about my nail service. I should have turned around right then and there and left. But I decided to just give them a shot, and I eventually got asked what I was standing at the nail dryer for and I said they told me to come down here for a pedicure and I handed a sticky note to some other guy. I eventually went back to a spot to get a pedicure and I got a sweet lady named Mira. She seemed very nice and also very new. She did a great job on my nail preparation and my message part. But as the whole experience went on, these two other nail techs kept coming over to her and hovering literally over her to make sure she was doing everything right and not messing up. I don’t know for sure what they were saying, since they were speaking a language I do not speak, but I do understand body language. And as they would stand over her she would get nervous or frustrated. They were especially worried about the way she was painting my nails and seemed to be rushing her to finish. After she painted my toes and had to redo one that messed up and got touched wet, she asked me if I would like to sit and let them dry or go to the nail dryer and light area and I asked her what she thinks I should do and she told me to sit and let them dry. I was there for a minute or two as this other lady told her to tell me to go to the nail dryer. I walked over there and sat in the chair and was there maybe 5 minutes under the lights. Then the nail tech came over to me and said my toes were dry and that I could leave. She helped me slide my opened toed sandals on and I went to the counter to pay. I did give her a tip because she did a great job on my prep and message and was extremely sweet. But as I got into the elevator to go back up to the original location I came from, the pinky toe got smudged. I was annoyed by the fact that that happened but I was not going to go back down to that floor I was on for I had to be somewhere and was going to be late and I had been there for 2 hours getting this pedicure. I just had to deal with what I was left with and try to fix them with what I had nail polish wise at home. Later on as the evening went on, I looked down and my big toe that originally messed up at the salon was messed up again, it was like the nail polish never dried and cured completely. I am just disappointed in how my nail polish came out from spending close to $60 on a service. I have had better outcomes at other local salons in Clemmons who have been around for a lot longer than this place and aren’t so over the top with there amount of nail color options and loud aesthetics and a ridiculous amount of chairs and price. The people at Royal Nails are nice but they seem to give their people a hard time which obviously frustrates them and in the end makes them not do a great job because they feel rushed and are obviously just trying to do their best. And in turn this rushes the customer and makes their nails turn out to be horrible. As sweet as my nail tech was, I will not be going back to Royal Nails to get a pedicure or any device for that matter and will stick to my normal nail salons that might be smaller but they do seem to care more about there work and people then this place does. Also the price for a pedicure is ridiculous and should never cost as much as it does at this place. Even their basic pedicures are close to $50.

Cc done an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure!! So nice and understanding. I was very insecure about my toes and she reassured me that it was fine. I highly recommend her and she does an A plus job!!

CC did an absolutely fabulous job. I brought her a picture and my nails came out even better. I have been a client of Royal Nails since they opened and won’t go anywhere else. Always great service in a clean and welcoming facility.

Hannah did so good on my nails! I went around 3pm on a Monday and they were not busy at all so no wait I just walked in without an appointment.
I got SNS with tips color #45. The cost was $45 bc I had a 10% off discount for it being my birthday (I had previously signed up for recurring texts which is where the discount came from that was valid for 10days starting from my birthday).
I will definitely be back!!
