Customer Reviews:
Backstory.. I’ve been here before for my friends Bachelorette weekend. They had our group in a private room, offered us beverages aside from water, and it was a great experience. Now it’s my turn for my Bachelorette weekend, a week before my wedding.. our group wasn’t in the private room even though we requested it and booked a month out (7 people including me). We were all so spread out that we had to yell across the room to talk to each other, and we weren’t offered wine or anything.
Let’s start with toes:
I showed a photo and expressed that I wanted acrylic toes because I like the square and clean look. She said ok, but then filed so much off and rounded out my nails even though I told her I like them square and not rounded. She put a tip on my big toe but still didn’t want to do acrylics on my toes. She kept trying to talk me out of it and how I didn’t need it even though my big toes were chipped on the edges (hence why I wanted acrylic toes). I tried to give her grace because she said someone else will do my hands so I figured she may not have been well versed in doing acrylic but she managed to do it only on my big toes and didn’t want to do the rest. I was tired of repeating myself and gave up. The color and French tip was bad. The base color wasn’t that cover pink color. It was almost like a blueish pink. I wanted a pale pink French tip instead of the typical white and she still did white.
The hands:
I was hoping since I was getting someone else to do my full set I’d be happier but it was also bad. When we started the process and she put the tip on, the height of the nails was great, until she did all of them and once the acrylic was on she filed to the point where the height was alot shorter. The shape of the nail was different with each finger. I also showed a photo to her and she even kept the photo up to reference. Take this as a warning this is not the place for getting ombre nails or anything outside of safe, nurse like nails. She tried to do the ombre with gel which I know is difficult and makes your nails thick. She did one finger and the ombre was streaky and messy. I asked if powder would be easier (which is compared to doing it with polish and a brush). She redid it maybe twice (still the same test finger) and tried to get me to cure it. I told her no and we just won’t do the ombre. I asked if she can still do a tiny gem on each finger with the twinkle design (see photos) we did that but it looked like she started to center the gem with a few fingers then decided to switch up the placement on others. Now it just looks unintentional.
I wish I could get my $185 dollars back and I was too nice in giving $20 EACH to both ladies… I gave the $20 to the lady who did my hands and she said “is this for both of us.” So I gave a $20 to her and the other lady but I regret all of it. I should’ve just did my nails in the first place since I’m very detailed oriented and can take the time to do it, but it’s the week before my wedding and didnt want to worry about it so i got them “done”.. I get married 4/27 and got my nails done on the 20th.. im writing this 2 days before my wedding and shortly after fixing my pedicure and manicure. I not only had to scrub my feet to get the rest of the dead skin she missed off. I even did a peeling mask on my feet it was so bad. I even attached photos of what my feet and nails look like now because they look 1000x better and I did it myself!!! 2 days before my wedding.. I will never come here again or even get my nails done in a salon period. Spend that money on supplies and do it yourself.
